Please help with recommend universities or technical schools in spain that i can do a courses for 6 months or more for upto 20hrs. Please advise. thank you for those of you with admissions already. Just short courses. You can also recommend universities.

■ @Akinglobal US consulars/embassy doesn't care about Block account unlike some European or Schengen countries. American embassy wants liquid funds that can be easily accessible and they do not care about tuition deposit or full payment. Infact, they usually warn against any payment until after your f1-visa is granted.

@Fallenangel0011, i am not disputing the authenticity of your host-University but i am disputing the provisional admission because anything provisional means admission with a blemish.

■ I also usually go against institutions with multi-campuses in different nations because over the years, some have been tagged as using such institutions to bring in local llegal immigrants (via study-visa) from such annex countries.

Well dont let me sound like a pessimist, you can still get your visa, yes it is doable but you must jump the brick-walls of the " provisional admission" and Genuine Intention to convince the consular that you actually want to attend the school and graduate.

■● Get a Nigerian bank statement with the full amount of your tuition deficit. Pls note: Any bank statement you presented (if asked) would be verify.

■● A copy of the tuition deficit (bank statement) will be sent to the school prior to the issuing of your Form-I20 which gives the school the impression that you will be able to pay upon resumption, and the exact original bank statement must be taken along on your f1 interview day.

Go and request for the refund of your $4,905 and look for another school. Unfortunately you will lose some percentage of the down payment (perhaps the $905) but count it worth doing as " no matter how far you have gone on a wrong way , turn back now "

USA embassy/consular officer issuing your f1-visa with a provisional (conditional) admission offer is 25% chances over 100.

Besides, 70% of US institutions (not official but based on personal experiences) does not ask for down payment (except few who asked for spot deposit from $250 to $500) so the payment you made is very likely going to be counterproductive and term as a trick to convince the consular. If you had paid the whole school fees then you could have given the consular the benefit of doubt. Nonetheless. your provisional offer is a brick-wall.

Dont accept provisional (conditional) admission (Form-I20) except if your case is exclusively different.

In your japa abroad, it is crucial not to follow the crowd blindly. Instead, assess your own situation carefully. The same way many Nigerians moved to the UK via student visas in large numbers, only to face disappointment with the struggle for work and high cost of living, a similar trend is happening in Canada.
Do not confuse a tuition deposit with the actual tuition fee. I would advise that if you do not have at least one year's worth of fees for a two-year program, do not risk coming to Canada as a student. It is becoming increasingly difficult to secure jobs, and some students have been here for 8 to 10 months without finding employment. Many students are dropping out of school due to a lack of funds.
Plan thoroughly and do not let agents deceive you. Many Nigerian students are struggling and feeling depressed here. However, the decision is ultimately yours to make, and you must be prepared to face the consequences.

Prince Edward Island (PEI) is a province in Canada, and like all provinces, it follows the immigration policies set by the federal government. Regarding the Visitor Visa and working in PEI, a Visitor Visa for Canada does not allow you to work and cannot be converted to a work visa under current regulations, including in Prince Edward Island. The person who advised you otherwise is deceiving you. Even many students with work permits struggle to find work to pay for tuition, and some students drop out of school due to lack of funds. Please connect with honest people to avoid being stranded with fake advice!

This is not the first time someone has advised the person to calm down because he/she has shown signs of desperation, from applying for a USA visa to a Canada visa after a previous student visa refusal with over 34 password reset on usa visa section . However, I would advise anyone who is spending so much time and energy on a visitor visa that, even if you are eventually granted one, please review the current IRCC laws and update before boarding the plane to Canada so you don’t end up stranded. Some changes have already been made, such as the fact that there is no longer an option to convert from a visitor visa to a work permit. Additionally, the asylum route, which many have been using, is about to face critical changes soon. I wish everyone the best of luck in the Canada visit visa race !
