Inasmuch as Saraki has not renounced his Nigerian citizenship since both of his Parents were Nigerian citizens, he remains a citizen of this great country. He is therefore standing on constitutionally solid grounds as far as this issue is concerned.

That he has committed political suicide given recent events, is a different matter altogether.
