TravelRe: The Sorry State Of Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan Road (Photos) by FarmerJoe: 12:52pm On May 19, 2025
Ife express road is no longer a good road. It is, in fact, worse than Ibadan to Osogbo road and many motorists going to Osogbo now use the Ibadan to Osogbo road.

gabbasin:
This road is the shortest to Osogbo from Ibadan but due to its bad condition, motorists have to go through the Ìfẹ́ express road and make a detour at Gbongan to the Ode omu/Osogbo road. In 2016, I unknowingly passed through this Ibadan/Iwo/Osogbo road not knowing it's been abandoned by motorists, after passing Iwo, I realised that I am the only one on the road as I hardly encounter any other vehicle and this made me filled with fear of being kidnapped till I got to Osogbo. This is a road I had passed through a decade earlier but oblivious the road has decayed to the point motorists have to abandon plying it completely.

Amen. Thanks.

I also don't like cats. They're pests not pets.
Common now! Cats are great pets and very useful too.

You cannot keep local chickens or free range chickens without providing protection. Every animal has a predator!
What do you think "kuku" (woven basket that is sealed at the top) is used for? Get some, use them to keep the birds anytime from 6.30pm to 7pm and release them in the morning around 6.45am to 7am. Or make a slightly big ground cage that is protected using mosquito net and it can accommodate more birds.
