Ah!!! This is one hell of an excruciatingly painful experience. In fact, the anxiety is driving me nuts.

yes we cannot be keeping our hopes where there is no certainty..... the questions to ask here are the ministry trade & investment different from other agencies of the govt ? 2. those in authority heading the recruitment are they really want to release the job to us...? the other minis tries like aviation, agric, interior, environment & education are executing their programmes including recruitment.... without considering the falling of oil price...... so guys can we be continue keeping our hopes....? I think we should be asking ourselves such questions....for clearification.

Yes, I called the lady this morning and she told me that she has summitted our list to Director admin for further action,bt they hv nt heard any thing from the director yet, she added that I shouldn't worry cos no matter wat, it won't exceed may 29th, dats the handover date. Pls do nt get me wrng, as I said earlier, this enquiry am doin is abt the recruitment we received the appointment last year december from civil service commission direct to d ministry,dat means we wl work under d ministry, unlike g-invest that we are all hopin that it wl b a parastatal appointment under trade and investment, bt we are all hopin they are workin on g-invest too since dey are all facin same fund prblm, as a matter of fact, she tld me they are nt d 1ns handlin g-invest recruitment ,it was gvn to a consulting firm, bt it exist. Thank you

I think the delay is basically due to the falling global price of oil which has in turn, impacted negatively on all aspects of our national life. Need we mention that the FG has borrowed money twice this year in order to pay it's workforce. Plus, the foreign deserve hitting below $30,000,000,000 at $29bn or thereabouts.

Consequently, our major concern should be 1. Whether this present administration can muster the courage to end what it started before it expires under the given circumstance, because no administrator would ask new recruits to resume work if there's no ready fund set aside for their remuneration; 2. Should this present administration fail to employ us before the 29th of May, 2015, will it be legally binding on the incokming administration to continue with us from where the out gone one left off?

I hope they say something positive before the 29th of May, because that's where our chances mostly lie.

they have tru with everything..... therefore we are waiting for emigba 2moro to update the house on what they will discuss with the admin sec. from the office of the perm. sec. so we r hoping to hear something positive........

The problem here is that the house have not approved the fund.

I heard that, the federal govt. will release all the appointment before 20th may, 2015. because faan hv released their own today. and. immigration their own
next week. hopefully Ginvest will call us before 20th. prayer is needed.....

any update. house what is happening? we're very much concern about the date....

yes the minister will go.....while the ministry will remain.....civil service remain permanent....perm. sec. will also continue with the lmplementation & execution of existing policies & programmes of govt. in the ministry.....as usual.....

Yes, we want to know u.....because ur not being chttn here....u go to the person u pay ur money to....not here....any possitive comments is wlcm in dis room....we don't entertain negative comments here...........to me ginvest is real.....not scam our letters will soon be delivered to us......

Gudrvnin frndz....we should be xpectin our ltrs after general elections...until when the national assembly delivrates and also passess the (2015) budget..evritin concerning this recruitin stuff...is geneau & authentic...its has already passed thru the necessary procedure of the federal civil service rules....

Its d ministry that employed the (RG) registrer of the commission...also DGs & MDs of all the parastatals...its also constitutes board members of such parastatals....when mother ministry employ & deploy u to any of its parastatals...that parastatals does'nt hv option rather to accept u....as staff....
