Reason for the fight was simply because the guys thought I tried by cutting them by calling the owner unknowing to them I only tried to verify the car owner.

Again since Faruq already disclosed the amount to him N800 they now believe I also tried to stop their own settlement from the dealer/owner.

Infact the whole bubble got bursted on everybody's face. The dealer was actually gonna also settle them even at N650k... 50k I supposed

They sold to me @750 so their money was 100k.

Now, dealer was to go home with 100k while owner was to go home with 500k... The owner was already fed up with the car he just wanted to sell it off even at a lost.

It was when they all (the mechanic guys) where summoned by my elder bros because they're our family mechanics that was when every details was spelled out.


Even after the whole thing I still chatted fasasi1 afterwards and apologized to him because he told me how disappointed he was about the whole thing and we traced everything out, I explained everything reasons of my actions to him. I know he will deny it... Post a screenshot he has refused to but he was fast to post where he told me how Tojah tried to sell a bad car to him but now he doesn't have the remaining of our chat history anymore, right?

They know what they will call me for and what they will take far from me. The only place I won't fault the owner is, for him to reduce a car to 650k plenty plenty werey deh the car body.

Exaxtly. And the truth is, even if you take 10 of gazz.uzz to inspect a car, there are issues you will never notice till you start using the car.

For a car the owner was willing to sell at 650k and seeing how every other person who has bought the car has had issues with it, I would not be surprised that both mechanics did not know the full extent of repairs needed. If trained mechanics could not detect it, difficult to pass the blame to Felicity.

But he is claiming the car he sold was good, nobody is above mistake.

If a seller is willing to sell for that amount something is definitely wrong and since the car goes for N1m for naija use, all I thought was maybe he just want to sell for 800k since that is the amount I was aware of but for the fact that Felix knew the price the owner wanted to sell which was 650k was too good to be true he could have used his brain that is if he had one but what did he do instead He added 150k to it

If your mechanic says the car is good to go for 800k. I see no reason why you going back to be looking for the seller to tell them you're buying for 800k.

I was to sell an RX 350 (2010) just 4 days ago, the buyer sent his mechanic down without coming himself. He said once his mechanic says car is Okay, he will forward money to us. Mechanic came and saw and pointed out what he's not fair with on the car and I told him it's fixable but no problem the price (70%) for changing those parts will be deducted. Mechanic now said Bros wetin you go give me make I for certify this car good to go?

There and then from experience I know this deal will break my neck. So you see... The problem here is YOUR MECHANIC. You trusted his judgement, as a seller, you'd do anything to sell your item especially to the highest bidder.

What I am not sure of is...

Is it the 50k agent fee?
The 150k top up?
The car is bad?
Or car is not good for 800k?

What is really the problem here?

The mechanic I brought said it's a good car, even he was saying the money is too much and Felix should reduce the money but I told him I trusted Felix judgement and because he was running mouth and telling me I can't spend more than 100k to fix, I decided to choose Felix over the mechanic. Even the person was saying Felix should give us some days we want to verify the documents and call the real owner but he said he has done that already.


Inclusion, Felix mechanic said Felix know the condition of the car before he sold it out, now, when you know the car is a problematic car why did you decided to add outrageous amount on it ?? I ended up spending more than my budget.

After adding 150k, he still told me to pay settlement fee who does that Is that how business works ?? I was in to selling of mifi too and I did my business with honesty, if a mifi develops fault after the customer had bought it, I will be the one to sort it out even when this mifi is brand new o, tear pali but I don't care of that, I will choose relationship over business.

Even the 650k its not worth it, like I said my mechanic said the engine is good so the car is good but as a car dealer you know if take more than good engine for a car to be good.

Fasasi, ur only issue should be that he didn't tell u d breakdown of the money. And from ur gist after u told mechanic d amount u agreed with Felicity, he ended up paying those guys, this u confirmed. He even made a post about it so it's obvious he didnt chop 200k ontop this deal alone. Other people shared from it too.
The issue of mechanic telling u he wants a cut of repairs is neither here nor there. It cannot be substantiated.
Now, this isn't something u bring up in public to try to tarnish someone's image. It's a matter of understanding and maturity, which if u expressed ur disatisfaction and disappoinment to Felicity privately, u guys would have come to a compromise and settled without this public washing.

I have said it earlier, I don't have the picture, I honestly wish I had it, the place that was panel bested was because the car came with dented side and even Felix can attest to it.


Regarding the issues, he literally told me the only gain from the sale was the settlement fee, he said the 800k was going to the owner.

Why does he have to lie ?? What does he stand to gain ?? Even the guy that told Felix about it wanted to sell it fro 750k and he didn't attach settlement fee. I got to know after I have paid.

I finally transferred an extra 30k to the mechanics because they said the 50k I gave to them b4 was not enough that I was supposed to pay to them and not to the owner of the car... But you guys asked me to pay to him naw that it's his brother that gave you the car to help him fix. Okay no problem. I gave them in total 80k.
I gave the dealer (Mr. Rowland's brother) 30k as initially agreed btw him and myself and I gave the area guy 30. How much remain?

80+30+30= 140k
