Normally Israel will have their civilians under bomb shelters. And I somehow suspect that they provide more layers of protection over civilian infrastructures. It's not as if their civilians don't get targeted as well. You've seen pictures of missiles hitting city centers and homes, it's not child's play. This is everything being fair in war.

These Iran really annoys your guts. Take am easy na, to an extent I could understand their fear sha. Iran is almost struggling to live all by herself having been hit by sanctions here and there. The kind of backing Israel enjoys from the US and other allies, Iran doesn't have that. As of now the only formidable ally Iran has is Russia and Russia is dealing with her own trouble too. So it's only normal that Iranian leaders proceed with caution. But what I hate so much is the fact that Iran has good and well-meaning citizens under the rulership of some stupid clowns.
The fact is that at the end of the day Iran will lose more than Israel would. All these dare devil attack tonight is just to save face cause they've had enough "see finish".

Not sure they informed USA, I think it’s more of USA knew Iran will strike Israeli bases as retaliation because Iran have done it before and Iran intel is not one of the best in the world.

The fact that Iran did not announced it and they did not use drones, which made it hard to Jordan, USA and UK to protect Isreali airspace.

USA intel through their early warning systems are always watching over Iran and can detect preparations for attack unlike when Russia launched attacks.
Russia has the ability to disrupt the GPS system making it impossible sometimes for Ukrainian military.
Iran don’t have that capability yet

4) Nasrallah went to a big meeting with commanders, including Iranians thinking he is safe, likely even discussing the ceasefire deal

5) Israel strikes the meeting with 80 bunker buster bombs, killing them all

-> The new Iranian president is naive and believes the promised of the west and ultimately the promises of Netanyahu.

Now Israel is celebrating.
