It's funny how she literally said one of the many reasons people protested october 2020, but seems we have forgotten that her experience isnt different from that of many .... Some have even lost their lives due to certain interactions with some of the bad elements in the nigerian police force.... Now she speaks but for some reason , we cant see that in her own way she is calling the attention of the international bodies to the criminality of certain institutions in the Nigerian state that are beyond corrupt. She speaks her truth, and the truth of many other nigerians..... If we cant face facts then we are okay being in the shackles of political bandits.

She spoke the truth about the state of the Nigerian nation and it's people yet people crucify her for it... Maybe we deserve our predicaments because majority of the people are starting to act like it is okay!

As much as I do not agree with how the military handles situation sometimes, the truth remains we can't continue to live a life where ethnically we are so divided.... This divide is the reason why we are where we are. We can't speak with one voice.... Before Ibo, hausa, yoruba, bini, efik or ibibio, we are nigerians.... Why do we create such divisions allowing the ruling class to take advantage of the divide to kill us some more. We are Nigerians first. I have ibo in-laws and I love them to a pulp.... I am yoruba... My mother is partly hausa.... One of my grandmothers hail from the Nupe region .... The other has bini blood..... Bro, it is not by tribe, your action defines you... Not your ethnicity.

very true but remember that it was tbis same mentality that we had during Jonathan's era that brought in buhari.... Same mentality during Buhari brought about T pain. Actually brother, hause is an african language spoken in so many other countries.... Northern Ghana speaks hausa and even go by hausa names.... Just like nigeria, some parts of chad and Niger republic too. Hausa is not synonymous to Nigeria.

Lovely, I am glad you said it. Please let us make it a point of duty to speak up for men too. It's not just women getting raped out there. As a matter of fact there are so many boys underaged and teenagers who get abused on a daily but all we hear about is the women, let's normalize speaking for men and women together. Majority of the men you know will not tell you this but most of us are victims of sexual abuse at extremely young ages but we are too ashamed to speak about it because we are laughed at..

The borrowing becomes a crime when you put a whole country into debt just to split funds amongst a few people for personal gains. 10 billion dollars you say, how about we cut down on the cost of governance and focus on increasing the money generated ..... Cut down on the money spent on the legislative and executive's arm of the government.
Open the land borders and facilitate trade between neighboring countries.... Instead of buying new planes and bulletproof escalades, revive the refineries create more jobs.... When we have more jobs there's more revenue for the government in terms of tax. The borrowing will be reduced..... We are the 3rd on IMFs list of debtors. Yet despite the huge sums being borrowed we have nothing to show for it.... If libya an oil producing country sells petrol at 57 naira, why cant we emulate that? The greed of the people who have a say is why we keep digging deeper into debt. This has nothing to do with apc or pdp or LP as far as I am concerned they are the same people with different colors of agbada. But our problem is simple. Let's not make it seem like it goes beyond what it is.

Tribalism is a form of terrorism. The sitting government undermined Jonathan's govt. Labeled them bullies and enemies of democracy, went on a crusade labeled occupy nigeria... All of a sudden now they are there and they have become dictators and trying to take away the people's right to protest. Yorubas are not known as hypocrites... We are fierce and we dont believe in seeing people cheated. It is sad that the present govt has shown the people that they cannot be trusted. We were labeled lazy nigerian youths till october 2020 showed them we could speak with one voice....... It is time to leave tribal and religious issues aside it is one of the weapons used by the government to cause our disunity
