Nairaland GeneralThe Coscharis Fire by fastfinger(op): 11:10am On Jul 18, 2013
It was about 4:30pm today 18-07-2013, we hard shout, looking out from my window was thick smoke across the road but we could not go there as at that time because it was dangerous so i waited until the day was bright enough. On getting there, to my shock, it was a section of Coscharis company, that was on fire. this company is the largest retailer of BMW, FORD, RANG-ROVER CARS in west Africa. The Lagos state fire fighters that came to do there jobs where ill equipped so, they lost everything on that section of the company though, the fire did not spill over the sections of the company.

PoliticsHeart Broken! by fastfinger(op): 10:45am On Nov 11, 2011
tell me which Nigeria parent would be so heart broken, that he or she would not be able to send his wards to a private school any more, then decide to take he/her life!

"Top solicitor jumped in front of Tube train because he could no longer afford to send his children to private school
Tube

Vincent Buffoni, 49, was spending up to £30,000 a year to send Matthew, 14, to elite Charterhouse, and extra to send Francesca, ten, to a prep school. But the law firm he owned had been hit by the recession, and he had remortgaged the family home to raise £60,000 to continue paying for his children’s education".

AutosWe Need More Than A Minute Silence! by fastfinger(op): 2:19pm On Apr 30, 2011
It is a pity that, young men and women who chose to serve their fathers land are been slaughtered every year in the Northern part of this Great country and all we get is a minute silence from Mr, President. the perpetrators of these dastardly act are working and roaming about town and nothing is done to bring them to justice; for Christ sake, these people are no ghost! they have names, friends, relatives, brothers, sisters, homes and location where this wicked acts were carried out. the security agents by now should have apprehended some, if not all that are behind it.

The various State government, Federal government, INEC, and NYSC should be held responsible for the lives of these men and women that have been cut at their prime. We need more than a minute silence, the perpetrators of these crime should be fished out to face the full weight of the law.

Their families, need more than a minute silent and compensation; i ask myself where are the civil society group in this country? they will not stage protest because they are not important people and not from rich home or one of their own. I asked again where are the so called human right lawyers? Ok, i know where they are, they are waiting for post election clients, they will not rise in defense of the families of these young men and women that lost their lives while trying to give Nigerians free, fair and credible election and sue the Federal government, NYSC, INEC, the various state government where these people were murdered. No amount of compensation that will be able to replace their lives but they should be sued for at least 10 billion Naira collectively, which will serve as an exemplary fee.

Finally, the NYSC scheme should be reviewed; either it is scrapped or every graduate should serve within his/her region upon graduation. Young men and women can not be made to serve as sacrificial "LAMB" for reason they know nothing about.

I AM ALSO CALLING ON THE NYSC DIRECTOR BRIGADIER GENERAL M.I. TSIGA TO RESIGN

Long live Mr. President, Long live Nigeria, Peace to the world

All good people of Imo state, what we need do at this point in time, is to ensure that in where ever region you are, if you know any body within these four local government area, where election are going to hold, talk to them on the need to vote a good and credible person, so as to bring change in Imo state. please do tell them that the money Ohakim is sharing round town is our money meant for the development of our dear state.

Lets give Owelle Rochas a chance to bring back the legacy of Chief Sam Mbakwe. I believe, that if Rochas should become the governor of our state, there will be tremendous development. Ohakim has used all our state allocation to do advert and share it with evil people like Arthur Nzeribe.

try as much as you can and spread these INEC numbers and BBpin for people to pass any important information on the day of the electionsad0813 832 7889 (FOR SMS ONLY)), call: 0707 027 3671, 0707 027 3672, 0707 027 3673, 0707 027 3674, 0707 027 3675, 0707 027 3676, 0707 027 3677, 0707 027 3678, 0707 027 3679. BBPin: 2687A1CA. also send any useful information, pictures and video not more than 5mins to eyewitness@channelstv.com

All we ask Prof. Jega, is to prove to the world that he is clean and honorable person by conducting election in the remaining LGA with INEC staffs that are sincere and God fearing, The whole WORLD is watching. HE should also deploy more military personnels to those affected LGA, so as to prevent those that might try to RIG the election or snatch ballot bags.
