I truly feel for you guys doing business in Nigeria, it's a harsh condition to operate, at least to me.

I have done many deliveries to site based on just word of a gentleman and quickly paid up (even more than agreed) as agreed even when I was let down on final delivery. But I'll rather let the conscience worry the other person and not me. I've paid my money as agreed, and let I'll let the other party wonder if they've delivered as agreed (correct tonnage and specific location).

Trust is a big issue in business relationships and we have bad apples here too in the US so it;s not universal to Nigeria.

What I always wonder is this, with all those that believe in charms and stuff, why aren't clients afraid to cross someone that sweated to do something for you?
