He has nothing worthwhile to project to the topic at hand hence his deflection tactic.

How has the news of "109 soldiers killed by Boko Haram" worked out for you?

When are you releasing names of the 109 soldiers? grin grin

How has the so called interview of Itse Sagay worked out for you also? You brought us the fake news as well.

What are you saying? We are demanding to know how much the presidency has allocated for feeding after this same APC govt critisized the past govt of being insensitive.

This is the biggest budget in the history of Nigeria with over 65% Deficit unlike the 2015 which was a surplus of 0. 1%.

Is it too much to ask how much the First family has allocated for their feeding?

In a situation where governors are cutting wages and laying off workers in the name of austerity, why should the people suffer and the politicians continue to live off in excess at the expense of the state?
You haven't demanded for the information to be provided. All you and your fellow Ipob/wailers been doing is to spread falsehood out of desperation.

All of you should get it into your skulls, Jonathan is gone won't be coming back. We have passed that stage where anyone can just steal money from national coffer and go free.

The proposal has been sent to the House and the process of drawing the budget was done by civil servants at the Presidency.

Leaks of the soon to be declared public document is not impossible neither is it a criminal offense

It's only the summary that was presented by Buhari to the House that is online from the budget office

The breakdown is not available.
So where did 1.7B come from if the summary didn't show that?

These wailers are pathetic. They are making APC stronger with every lie they spread. This is the fourth thread about lie of 1.7B food budget without anyone of the wailers giving us source of their information. To my surprise, one wailer said this morning that we should prove Buhari made no budget provision for 1.7B food.

the order is from Buhari not to release him even when court order for him to be bailed
Do you have proof to this? It is always easy to pin it on somebody. The court should speak up and struck out the case or hold the attorney general in contempt of court if that is the case. No one can really say what exactly is going on.

All I know are the two unconfirmed facts I listed earlier.

so why is Nnamdi kanu locked up and even when court gave order to release him the DSS refused?
I have no idea. I am not in government neither was I ever part of Nnamdi's defense team to know what is going on.

Here are two things I've heard:

i. the federal government withdrew his case from magistrate court and moved the case to High Court. Magistrate court is not a competent court to handle such case.

ii. Nnamdi has been granted bail, met bail conditions and the federal government has refused to release him.

I have read the two points listed and I still don't know which one to believe. It is now up to the courts to clarify situation of things because we don't know who is telling the truth.

I don't see it as complain. Can you point out where you think El-Rufai or anyone was complaining? I don't think you understood the point he was trying to make. He was making the point that Igbos have more at stake in Nigeria than any other ethnic groups in Nigeria. That didn't sound like complain to me.

This shows that Nigeria is going to remain one for another 1 billion years. grin

How do you invest handsomely in some part of the country and walk away from your investment? Nigeria is on the march to its lost glory. Once we get back to our potentials, I don't see anyone wanting to leave the union.

God Bless Nigeria for all of us.

Excerpts from the article:

"In 2012, following the death of some Igbos in a bomb explosion in Kano, an Igbo leader was reported as saying: “With more than one million Igbos and our over N20 billion investments in Kano, this is our home away from home. And no one can force us to return home where… land is scarce and expensive for setting up new businesses.”

Pillars have been poured now.

Most definitely lessons were learned and similar will never appear again. One single one is that regardless of any fantabulous plan I want to build, the Architect and me will both stand firmly on the land and visualize.

In retrospect, this should have been an elevated bungalow and that deep side would have been used as underground parking.

But I have to move on and not get stuck at foundation, though it's an important part of the whole build.

I'm going to go ahead and do the additional support wall as the builder wants to do but my question is that is 3 to 4 coached high enough?
3-4 layers should be good enough. There is no need to go up to six. The foundation looks very good.

Double wall is good. A capping beam or ground beam will be ideal. You can also explore pouring slurry concrete into the hollow blocks.

Chateau de Brabus was built on a similar terrain. All those part had a ground beam. I don't know tomorrow and maintenance-free built is always my delight.
You are also right with that option.

In my own case with similar issue, they doubled up the 9 inch blocks of five layers filled with weak concrete. No single pillar introduced.

I want to ask a question from you guys. Try not to use this as an opportunity to be an unsavory character since nobody likes wise guys grin

So I have this section of my foundation that has been given me fits.

The concern is that the 6 coaches high wall, although fortified with pillars, might not hold the filling back without collapsing. Especially when water is used to compact it.

So the recommendation is to do a double wall.

I was assuming that the new internal support wall has to be same height as the existing wall but my builder says it's needs to be only 3 to 4 coaches high.

What says yee?

Thanks.
That wall ain't going anywhere, sir. You have enough pillar to support that side of the building. In my own case with similar issue, they doubled the wall with 9 inch blocks and no single pillar put in place.

Make sure you use red sand instead of red clay. Red clay tends to be heavy when compacted or mixed with water. The red clay can move mountain when wet. Make sure you avoid using red clay to fill the foundation.

It doesn't look like you have concrete poured for the pillars at the moment. Make sure you have solid concrete poured in as pillars and leave for few weeks before you fill the foundation.
