Every high possession team uses a technical no 4, whether you are talking of Pirlo, Xabi Alonso, Marcos Senna, Fernandinho, Busquets etc. This is because possession starts with the triangle between the two centreback and no4.

They may then deploy a runner alongside the no 4 eg Gattusso, Vidal, Seydou Keita etc

Furthermore, Sarri said Kante should stay closer to Jorginho rather than always going forward, in recognition that Jorginho has physical deficiency and would need Kante as a bodyguard to play that role well. . . which can only benefit the team.

Everything he said made sense tactically, and was just a reiteration of his team set up. Kante would understand the message perfectly. It was in no way a diss at him.

Without going into details, forget the tactical jargon. Sarri is drunk by playing our best player out of position or maybe the formation is just wrong. Its criminal to limit a player's specialty.

Play Kante in his favored position (or at least one that will make him MOST effective) because he will be the first to win the ball back and pass it forward for Joggy to do whatever it is that he does.

Back then when the show came out, just a few episodes in and I was sure it wasn't for me, such an annoying show.

Used to be very cool and sort of fast paced. All about the music and some nice drama. Now it's one propaganda after the other. So yeah, I'm skipping it for now.

Last Kingdom is out. Different story but the real deal.
