^^^same what?
Inter did not play this bad and certainly they had a shot at goal.
More importantly though, they won the cup.

L'arse shamed the game of football with such a NO performance.  tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Vs Arsenal @ UCL: 3 - 1 (8th March 2011) by FBS: 10:36am On Mar 10, 2011
"Barcelona are the team you don't want to play," Redknapp said. "They made a side like Arsenal, who in our league pass teams to death, almost look out of their depth."

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/892058/harry-redknapp-keen-to-avoid-barca-after-milan-victory?cc=5739

I think that was an understatement. They (L'arse) were TOTALLY OUT of depth. Never seen a team play that bad. guess the passing game made them dizzy.

Isnt it a well know fact that Arsnal fans is a gathering of r3tards?

Why is no one here talking about Diaby tackle on Messi in the box?

WHy is no one talking about Kolscieny being on the field after several attempted murders on opponents?

Bunch of losers
We've mentioned all that earlier but those don't count according to l'arse fans.
They only see when they want to see which is only when arsewen says so.

I'd expected them including the so called resident football analysts (i understand dem plenty for here) to accept defeat and move on.
You get sympathy when you act like a man and not crying nawthing.

Anyways, na them sabi. Let me go get some oranges. grin

debosky:
Did RVP get sent off in his own half? Did we get a corner kick in our own half? (note both incidents took place within 10 minutes of the second half). I said stop spewing half baked nonsense.
Just how silly and daft can one be? your player left his own half and got sent off. A brilliant move eh?  grin

debosky:
You lack the ability to appreciate tactics - the AIM was to keep things tight and hit them late on just as we did at the Emirates. If you can't appreciate that the sending off prevented that then quit now.
You should be ashamed of yourself and your team. Your team lack the mental strenght to win or at least play like men and you my friend, lack the maturity to accept defeat. simple as that.
Your team was a disgrace to the EPL last night. WestHam couldn't have played that bad.

debosky:
Can you stop a shot within a second of hearing the whistle (if indeed he heard it)? This is what you get from people who have no understanding of football.
It is depressing when you read lines like the above? So you are a footie analyst and yet cannot see why you lost last night. And no it wasn't because of Masimmo Busacca. It was because you were outplayed in all departments.
But heck, this is what you get when toads calls themselves lions.  cheesy

debosky:
It is daft to fail to realise that the sending off permanently disrupted Arsenal's tactical plan.
Oh l'arse fans. Inter were in the same shoes yet they won the tie and lifted the cup. What stopped you from doing same?
A daft fan and a daft team. ALOHA!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (A New Strength, A New Hope). by FBS: 3:32pm On Mar 09, 2011
you know, it would have been easier to understand or sympathise if
- You had a goal wrongly disallowed
- a player wrongly sent off.
- An opposition player used his hand to clear the ball or score against you
- or so many other attrocities that could have been committed. (remember chelsea-barca-tom-overbo)

None of the above happened so what are you guys on?

Not a single shot at goal? Goodnesshuh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Barcelona Vs Arsenal @ UCL: 3 - 1 (8th March 2011) by FBS: 3:19pm On Mar 09, 2011
^^^ I think that ref was Tom Overbo. He was way worse than massimo busacca.

Yeah maybe the ref had a bad night but he was poor for both teams.

Rvp must have heard the whistle going by his reaction.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (A New Strength, A New Hope). by FBS: 3:13pm On Mar 09, 2011
debosky:
You don come with these your half baked nonsense again. How can you 'leave your half' when you're down with 10 men for almost half the game? What would be a reasonable analysis to compare the time before and after. Till this minute, none of you naysayers has shown the mental ability to do so.

The intent was to keep it level till late in the game - before RVP went off, we were going through - that is not measured by leaving your half the last time I checked.

Even if RVP hadn't done anything, anyone with functioning reasoning faculties will know that he could be taken off for Arshavin, Bendtner or Chamakh to come on and make a difference - something that couldn't happen because the ref intervened.
My friend stop talking outta your arse. what nonsense. Tell me if you ever left your half even with 11?
You were not in the game at all. You showed no balls. nothing. What part of your head did you watch the match with?
Quit the ogogoro you are drinking and think with your head if you have one.
Rvp got a second yellow 'cos going by his reaction it was clear he heard the whistle. What was the ref to do?
All these megefedes and blaming the ref is outright daft to say the least.

The earlier you move on the better but when you have arsewen saying the same thing as the fans, then it is clear what direction you are moving.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (A New Strength, A New Hope). by FBS: 3:02pm On Mar 09, 2011
"This is a fair result," Xavi told the Barcelona official website. "We were the superior team both in the away game and at home. There's justice in football. They had clearly come here to defend. They didn't even have one single shot on goal. I expected a lot more from them to be honest.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (A New Strength, A New Hope). by FBS: 3:00pm On Mar 09, 2011
funny fans you lot. Blaming the ref. hehe. a team with no single shot on goal. Goodness you, me never see this kind team before. RvP got a second yellow and had to go. Like he was in the game at all. You never left your own half of the pitch. WOW!  shocked

Fact is everyone expected some "balls" from your pathetic team but that never materialised. Arsewen should have contacted JM before the match.

The better team won. o ti tan and if you say the ref was poor, he was probably poor for both teams. End of. . .
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The Galacticos (Real Madrid Fans Only) by FBS: 10:02am On Mar 09, 2011
Ozil is the mozart of football. Honestly the boy is a CRACKINGLY HOT! See passes. Thuraya got nothing on him man.

I can watch that first goal again and again. . .the build up was nothing but MAGIC!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: FC Barcelona Fan Thread: "Més Que Un Club" by FBS: 9:12am On Mar 09, 2011
@hannie. . .you said it like it is. kudos to ya. babu mental strenght kowai!

However, I wouldn't say  the ref was actually biased ( Tom Overbo comes to mind  grin ) ok, maybe he made it "easier" for Barca.
some key decisions did not go your way just as some did.

And just what was RvP thinking? If he said he never heard the whistle, why oh why did he kick the ball like that? Besides, he was never in the game anyways.

The ref imo had no other choice.

Plus, barca (you know how i feel about the team and especially the nl based fans  cheesy ) had a clear penalty in the first half which was not awarded. Just as a perfect goal was ruled offside at the emirati.

So all in all . . .you win some, you jabo from some.

This is football and arsenal did not show their game at all.

Who freaking cares about shots on goal?
Let the MSc Statistics attend to that.
When we were unjustly reduced to 10 men, the scores were 1-1
Its kool to talk about shots on target abi?
Against Braga, they had 2 shots on target which they scored, while we had many shots on/off target
Its the SCORES in a footie match that matters, not some Vile stats
hehehe. me care not about stats but please be truthful about this. . .
you owned barca at the emirati just as you got owned today. simples.
the ref had nada to do with that. with 11 players, what did you do?

no shots on target? created no chances. . .how do you expect to win? a pen? you couldn't even get into the oppositions box.

The Barca boys had their heads dropped and  we were getting into the groove

ah yeah. . .you barely got outta your own half, no shot on target and barca were denied a certain penarity.  cheesy
