Travel / Prince Edward Island Is Closing Its Entrepreneurial Stream Due To Fraud by fcalvary: 3:58am On Oct 11, 2018
Hello everybody a little bit of sad news, not dramatically sad but still something to consider Prince Edward Island is closing its intrapreneurial stream due to fraud well. There were several reasons for that but fraud is the major one in other words what was going on is that people were coming to Prince Edward Island committed to open a business in the province and run the business to create workplaces but what was happening is that they were leaving after getting permanent residency. Several people were charged in connection with this fraud because they were providing fake addresses in other words they were defrauding the government. This happened on a pretty large scale large scale for the province obviously but it looks like there were hundreds of cases involved so Prince Edward Island decided to stop it they will be reconsidering the program and most likely when its up again it would be like Saskatchewan program where you would not be receiving permanent residency after crossing the border but you will be getting work permit and after one year of success running the business you would be getting your permanent residence.
