This my friend was really envying and snitching me behind my back but in my presence, he would act all nice and caring

First and foremost, I suspected he was telling his wife negative things about me but when I started noticing something was wrong was when I visit him, his wife would tell me he's not around

Most times, I turn back but later on, I suspected he would be at home while his wife would tell me otherwise

There was one day the wife told me he wasn't around and a part of me was telling me that he was inside. To satisfy my curiosity, I asked his children and they both chorused to me that their daddy was inside.. This happened for about three times until I started withdrawing myself because I don't like to stay where I'm not honoured or valued

Now, me and that my friend are no longer in good terms.. He snitched me badly and plotted evil against me

One big lesson I've got to learn in life is that there's no best friend anywhere. Your wife and your children are your best friends

, you are not an igbo man so you won't understand, the most important thing in the igbo apprenticeship system is the knowledge the boy will get, even if the don't settle you and you are a good boy, there are people that will give you goods that can take you far, but this days is very hard to get loyal boys
