We have worked extensively across diverse sectors of the economy ranging from Telecommunication, Banking &Finance, Information Technology and Oil & Gas. Our client a Manufacturing company as requested to fill the below vacancy JOB TITLE: AM ENGINEERING JOB PURPOSE To lead the company maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities. Responsible for planned scheduling creation and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out. Troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it’s efficiency and effectiveness and is safe for employee’s to use. Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentor and lead the department. Seek approval for all installation and repair activities completed by any of the maintenance team. PRINCIPAL ACOUNTABILITIES 1.Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirement of a variety of electro-electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system are undertaken. 2.Manage, coach and develop a high performance maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice result, added value and continuous improvements. 3.Monitor the completion of task and ensure good performance and record on appropriate system. 4.Managing stock of supplies and equipment as regards electrical gadgets 5.Develop a planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule in respect to electrical, ensure full preventive maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively. 6.Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems for decision making. 7.Optimize equipment according to standard procedure to enhance performance and product quality. 8.Maintain operation in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors. 9.Receiving engineering job request/complaints from various departments/units and ensures effective intervention and timely completion. 10.Any other task that may be assigned from time to time by the management. KNOWLEDEGE AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor Degree/ HND in Engineering or it equivalents. Partnering with Business Managers to articulate meaningful people strategies aligned to the business, and the organization’s People priorities. Functionally reports to: Human Resources Director, GOL – Head Office, Lagos Working Arrangement: On-Site. Open to working and living in Ogun State.
