Bitcoin, often described as a cryptocurrency, a virtual currency or a digital currency - is a type of money that is completely virtual.

It's like an online version of cash. You can use it to buy products and services, but not many shops accept Bitcoin yet and some countries have banned it altogether.

The physical Bitcoins you see in photos are a novelty. They would be worthless without the private codes printed inside them.

To earn bitcoin, you need to buy and exchange it, but you can earn it free daily with your smartphone or PC.

No investment or pro skill is needed.

Admob is the best ads network to monetize your mobile app and earn much by impression, clicks and number of users. You can equally earn with admob even without an app. [ using it on webpages too ]

What google need is to see maximum numbers of impression and some real clicks. And you don't need a bot or a fake traffic to get this.

Getting paid online needs good calculation and perfect steps to make your first withdrawal.

AIT Founder, Raymond Dokpesi, His Daughter & 6 Other Family Members Test Positive For COVID-19

The founder of DAAR Communications, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, his daughter-in-law, and six members of his family have tested positive for coronavirus.

This came three days after his son and Chairman of the board of the company, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr, also tested positive for the virus.

According to ait.live, a test conducted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on the Dokpesi family came out positive for eight members of the family.

Dokpesi and the other affected family members were, on Friday, conveyed by the NCDC to the isolation centre at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, where his son is receiving treatment.

The media mogul, who spoke to journalists shortly after the arrival of the ambulance, said, “I am quite okay. I feel very well.”

Dokpesi Jnr had tested positive for COVID-19 after having symptoms of malaria.

However, after persistent bouts of cough, he was said to have contacted the NCDC, which later confirmed that he had the infectious virus.

Contact tracing immediately commenced with his family members. The test was later extended to senior management and members of staff who had been in close contact with the company’s index case.

The health authorities in the Federal Capital Territory had also carried out immediate fumigation of the entire DAAR Headquarters building sitting aloft the Kpaduma hills in Asokoro District of Abuja.

Palliative Rice! Ondo State Gov. Akeredolu Rejects Buhari Govt’s Expired Rice

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has rejected bags of rice sent to the state by the Federal Government as palliatives.

It was gathered that most of the 1800 bags received by the state from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management were not fit for human consumption.

The 1,800 bags of rice and vegetable oil were sent to the State by the Federal Government as part of measures to cushion the effect of COVID-19 on residents.

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State Government was the first Governor to cry out over the development when he rejected the expired 1800 bags of rice received from FG and ordered immediate return of the palliatives.

Similarly, Governor Akeredolu was said to have expressed displeasure on the situation when he received the palliative items at the Government House, Alagbaka, Akure, following which he ordered the rejection.

While giving an insight into the development, the Secretary of the State Palliatives Committee, Mr Alex Kalejaiye, confirmed that some of the bags of rice had expired and were no longer fit for consumption.

According to Kalejaiye, who is also the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State, “we discovered that some of the bags have expired and are not good for consumption at all; so we are separating them from the ones that are still manageable for consumption. After this, we will still take the ones that appear good to the laboratory to test if they are fit for consumption.

“They brought many bags of rice, we just carried out random checks on them to discover the ones that are not good. What we are trying to do is to separate those that appeared bad from those that appeared good then we will carry out laboratory tests on them to ascertain whether they are safe for consumption before giving them out to our people.

“Some are expired; it is even written on the bags but some are not expired but it seemed they were not properly stored, and those ones not properly stored would not be good to be given to our people without carrying out the laboratory test.”

Kalejaye added that, “the extremely bad ones, we don’t even need to do tests on them, we will return them.

“We will meet today to decide when to return them, you know we can’t do it without the consent of Mr. Governor.”

Coronavirus Is Not Transmissible Through Sex - Presidential Taskforce On Covid-19, Sani Reveals

The Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19 has stated that there hasn’t been a scientific proof to back up the claims that the disease can be transmitted sexually.

Some reports in Nigerian media space have suggested that the virus can remain in the testis of infected males even after treatment.

Reacting to such claims, National Coordinator of the Covid-19 taskforce, Dr Aliyu Sani, said there is no scientific proof at the moment to back up the claim.

According to Sani, although the world was still in the early days of the disease, no research had proven that it could be transmitted through sex.

Quote
“At the moment, there is no evidence of sexual transmission when it comes to COVID-19, but of course, we are still in the early days of the disease. The same thing happened in the case of Ebola, when subsequently it was proven that it was sexually transmissible. There was a small test case series of 10 women, who had severe COVID-19 and genital secretions were negative of COVID-19 virus. I think it is still in the early days, I will just say, watch this space.”

Singer, R-Kelly Denied Bail Despite Coronavirus Outbreak In His Prison

Singer R-Kelly who is currently in jail for molesting underaged girls has been denied bail despite an outbreak of coronavirus in his prison.

The 53-year-old singer is currently locked up and awaiting trial at MCC Chicago where an outbreak of COVID-19 has occured.

In figures provided by the Bureau of Prisons on Wednesday, there are 500 positive-testing inmates, 298 positive-testing staff members and 17 deaths.

As of Monday, 23 inmates at MCC have tested positive for COVID-19.

Kelly's legal team described the centre as a 'petri dish' and asked he be removed for his safety.

According to TMZ, Judge Ann Donnelly said that while she acknowledged the virus had spread to the facility, Kelly's motion for release on bond did not present enough evidence that he was likely to contract the deadly virus.

Kelly's lawyer had told the judge he was in a vulnerable position after an inmate on his floor was hospitalised with coronavirus.

The lawyer also insisted Kelly was very likely to return as he had turned up to previous court hearings and owes nearly $2million to the Internal Revenue Service. However, the appeal was denied.

It's not the first time Kelly has attempted to be granted early release from jail.

The singer made another request last month again over fears of catching coronavirus but a judge ruled the risk was too high to let him go.

Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Pens Down A Warning Message For Buhari Over Lockdown Extension

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has warned President Muhammadu Buhari against extension of lockdown despite increase in cases of Coronavirus in the country.

NLC in a letter signed by its President, Mr. Ayuba Wabba, said there would likely be social unrest if the current lockdown imposed on some states is extended.

Wabba urged Buhari to consider the welfare Nigerians, as well as insecurity before making any decision.

NLC warned that Nigeria’s economy might relapse into prolonged coma if the lockdown is extended beyond April 27.

The letter read in part:
Quote
“While we understand the public health imperatives for extending the lockdown in some parts of the country, it is also very important to underscore the fact that the states currently under total lockdown are the economic and administrative nerve centres of Nigeria.

“This is very dicey. As much as it is important to keep many Nigerians from dying in the hands of coronavirus, loss of income and the accompanying destitution can also be a pathfinder for numerous other sicknesses and deaths. This is the time to play the balancing game.

“The prolonged lockdowns are best effective in the short-term, while with the medium to long-term, the human instinct to survive would kick in and restraint might lead to the collapse of law and order.

“No one is sure how long this dam would hold. We fear that the situation will get out of hand if the lockdown exceeds one month.

“Beyond the threat of COVID-19 to health and life, there are also very real threats to livelihood.

“Jobs are under threat. Many employees are finding it difficult to source money to keep workers at work and sustain the production lines. It has been projected that the socio-economic impact of COVID-19 would ripple on, at least, for the next two years.”

Yoruba Leader, Prof Akintoye Reveals Abba Kyari Was Nigeria’s De Facto President

The Yoruba World Congress (YWC) on Monday rubbished the several empathies for Abba Kyari, late Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The body labeled Kyari as Nigeria’s de facto President and suggested that he was the one controlling the nation’s affairs.

YWC President, Prof. Banji Akintoye, in a statement issued by Adeyemi Adeleye, the Director of Communication, drew the attention of Nigerians to the enormous powers the late CoS wielded.

Quote
“Our position is that Nigeria is being run as a Banana Republic; a country in which the structure of government depends on the whims and caprices of the leader of the government.”

The Yoruba leader described as outrageous and unacceptable that appointed office-holders were subjected to the absurdity of having to go through the Chief of Staff to see the President.

Quote
“We are talking of high public officials such as governors, ministers, ambassadors, top federal career civil servants, National Assembly members and, to our collective embarrassment, the Vice-President.

“A Chief of Staff is no more than the head of the president’s kitchen cabinet, the president’s collection of personal staff, that has no superiority to the structural pillars established by the constitution of Nigeria.

“Abba Kyari’s unconstitutional position as de facto president in recent times, coupled with an elected President who is periodically nowhere to be found, has seriously deNoodd the legitimacy of government in our country.”

Akintoye said this manifested the seizure of government by a cabal belonging to a small section of the country, perpetuating impunity, and spiteful disregard for the respect due to the other sections and nationalities of Nigeria.

Quote
“We have a Vice President who has been boxed into a disrespectful corner simply because he does not belong to the self-appointed owners of our country,”
he added.

Akintoye observed that majority of Nigerians and the international community have been watching in disbelief how Africa’s most populous nation is being run like the personal estate of a small cabal.

The YWC advised Buhari and the presidency to free itself of powerful people and allow the federal government to run as it should in order to ensure that the masses get the dividends of democracy.

Quote
I'M DONATING MY NEW FAPOH ROYAL SEAL MANSION TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA TO USE IT AS AN ISOLATION CENTRE.

Humanity will overcome all its challengens only if we are willing to let go of the things we are not using for now for the benifit of others.

In view of the increasing cases of #coronavirus patients in Nigeria, and the few screening centres available for now, I'm deeply worried.
We will be making humanitarian sacrifices towards contributing our selfless deeds to control the escalating records of the #coronavirus as predicted by WHO.
When I wrote an open letter to Mr President on the 5th of Apri 2020 on how we can control the spread of the convid-19, it was only 210 cases, today it moving towards a thousand.

We should be proactive if we hope to win this global war, that has no boundaries,no discrimination and unfortunately indestructible for now.
Against this backdrop, and the ongoing lock down, the few services left has been put on hold at the ongoing FAPOH Royal Seal Mansion project site.
I feel convinced to donate this my new FAPOH Royal Seal Mansion to the Federal Government to used as an isolation centre,

as my personal quest to assist in the control, prevention, isolation and treatment of those diagnosed or to be treated in the course of us finding a lasting solution.
This donation will stand as a gift to humanity, till we find a solution which will once again set us free from the shackles of this incurable disease.

I am appealing to Nigerians to take this matter seriously because Covid-19 is real as it has claimed over one million lives in all parts of the world.

The hardship is really getting harder, it may jeopardize the progress of controlling the spread of the virus.

The feldral government must provide adequate palliatives for all Nigerians, till this disease becomes a thing of the past.

I also appeal for a two-week total lockdown to enable government treat existing cases and curb further spread by those who may have contracted the Covid-19. This lockdown will control all forms of movement and socialization between individuals or groups.
May God see us through this dark moments. Amb Francis Agoda

Health / Air Pollution Linked To Raised Covid-19 Death Risk by feedplus33(m): 11:37am On Apr 21, 2020
Air pollution linked to raised Covid-19 death risk

High levels of air pollution could raise the risk of dying from Covid-19, two studies suggest.

Dr Maria Neira, of the World Health Organization (WHO), told BBC News countries with high pollution levels, many in Latin America, Africa and Asia, should ramp up their preparations.

Those with underlying pollution-related conditions have developed severe Covid-19 in countries with high levels.

But medical professionals say it is too early to prove a direct relationship.

"We will be doing a map of most polluted cities based on our database to support national authorities in these regions so that they can prepare their epidemic response plan accordingly," Dr Neira said.

A US study suggests Covid-19 death rates rise by about 15% in areas with even a small increase in fine-particle pollution levels in the years before the pandemic.

"Patterns in Covid-19 death rates generally mimic patterns in both high population density and high [particulate matter] PM2.5 exposure areas," the Harvard University report says.

These particles, one-30th the diameter of a human hair, have previously been linked to health issues including respiratory infections and lung cancer.

The Harvard study has not yet been peer reviewed but Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich chair of epidemiology Air pollution linked to raised Covid-19 death riskProf Annette Peters told BBC News its findings "are in line with earlier reports on hospitalisation and mortality due to pneumonia".

"It is one of the first studies substantiating our suspicion and the hypothesis that severity of the Covid-19 infection may be augmented by particulate matter air pollution," she said.

Report author Prof Francesca Dominici said: "We hope it will help stop the air quality from getting worse, particularly when we are hearing about authorities trying to relax pollution rules amid this pandemic."

Another study, at the University of Siena, in Italy, and Arhus University, in Denmark, suggests a possible link between high levels of air pollution and Covid-19 deaths in northern Italy.

The Lombardy and Emilia Romagna regions had death rates of about 12%, compared with 4.5% in the rest of Italy.

The study, published in Science Direct, says: "The high level of pollution in northern Italy should be considered an additional co-factor of the high level of lethality recorded in that area."

Population, age, differing health systems, and a variation in prevention policies across regions should also be taken into account.

“So far, the patients have remained in isolation and the Enugu State Multi Sectoral Rapid Response Team has commenced contact tracing.

“The Enugu State Government expresses her gratitude to these patients who reported to the Enugu State Ministry of Health following the announcement that all returnees from overseas in the last 14 days should report for evaluation. “We still wish to encourage all those that returned recently from overseas to contact the Enugu State Public Health Department through these dedicated lines – 08182555550 or 09022333833,’’ he said.

Business / Dollar Sells For N402 On Forex Sale Suspension by feedplus33(m): 3:17pm On Mar 28, 2020
The dollar exchanged for N402 on Friday at the Bureau De Change segment of the foreign exchange market.

This followed the suspension of sale of forex to the BDC operators in the industry by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria had made a request to the Central Bank of Nigeria to grant it market holidays given the ongoing challenges faced in the local and global economies due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The CBN granted the BDCs two weeks market holiday as requested.

According to the BDC, there had been drastic decline in demand for forex due to the impact of the COVID-19 on the economy, as businesses were down and many people were not travelling.

The naira had also suffered a setback as a result of crude oil price that fell drastically in the international market, which raised speculations among the BDC operators and Nigerians in general.

It would be recalled that the CBN had technically devalued the naira to exchange to the dollar at a N380 uniform rate last week, after market interventions could no longer sustain the exchange rate at N360.

In a notice to the BDC operators and directors, the President, ABCON, Alhaji Aminu Gwadabe, said the CBN’s approval meant that sales of foreign exchange to BDC were suspended till further notice.

Gwadabe also advised the public not to go into panic buying, hoarding and patronising street traders as the CBN had enough reserves to sustain supplies when the BDC operators would return to business.

A statement said the CBN had also acknowledged the contributions of the BDC operators in promoting stable exchange rate in recent months, despite challenging circumstances facing the forex market due to the drop in crude oil prices.

It stated, “This is to urgently bring to the notices of our members nationwide that following our letter of recommendations to the CBN to grant us market holidays on our bidding days as a proactive and preventive measure on the scourge of the novel COVID-19 epidemic and the ban on all air/land travels, the CBN has granted our request, effective Friday, March 27, 2020.”

“There shall be no market days henceforth for a tentative period of two weeks.”

Sports / Families, Enyimba Paid N2.5m For Ojo, Iluyomade’s Release by feedplus33(m): 7:52pm On Mar 27, 2020
Captain of Sunshine Stars, Sunday Abe, on Thursday revealed that Enyimba midfielder Dayo Ojo and Abia Comets’ Benjamin Iluyomade, who were kidnapped on the Benin-Akure Expressway on Sunday, were released after the sum of N2.5m was paid to their abductors.

Ojo was kidnapped along with Iluyomade by unknown gunmen on their way to Akure after their clubs had gone on vacation due to COVID-19 virus pandemic, on Sunday.

Shortly after, the kidnappers contacted their families and demanded a sum of N100m before they could be released. They were said to have been released on Thursday morning after the N2.5m ransom was paid.

However, Abe, a former teammate of the duo, confirmed on Thursday in Akure, the state capital, that the money was paid in cash to the kidnappers.

Abe stated that he and some family members of the players took the money to the kidnappers before his former teammates were released.

The Sunshine captain said, “They called us around after 4pm on Wednesday that we should come with the money, at times they asked me to send them recharge cards but we tried to speak with them on the financial state of the country.

“We negotiated from N100m to N20m before they finally agreed on N2.5m. They never asked us to drop the money inside the bush; they met us one-on-one.

“They asked me to bring the money before they would release them and we returned to Akure around 1am on Thursday.”

He added that the money was raised by the teams and families of the victims, saying Ojo’s club Enyimba contributed N1.5m while the players’ families rallied round to get the remaining N1m before they were released.

He also confirmed that the kidnappers were young Fulani boys who also abducted other people.

“These other kidnapped people also had their own ransom brought to the spot where they (kidnappers)asked us to come and meet them.”

The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Leo-Tee Ikoro, confirmed the release of the footballers but added that no ransom was paid before the release of the Nigeria Professional Football League duo.
Health / COVID-19: US Asks Doctors, Nurses Around The World To Apply For Visas by feedplus33(m): 7:37pm On Mar 27, 2020
The United States has asked medical professionals seeking to work in America to apply for a work visa at the nearest US Embassy as part of measures to strengthen the health system to contain the coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The government in a statement published on www.travel.state.gov on Friday, advised foreign medical professionals already in the US to consult with their sponsors to extend their programmes.

According to World Health Organisation statistics as of 12:00 pm on Friday, 63,570 people have been infected with the virus and nearly 884 have died in the US which is quickly becoming the new epicenter of the outbreak.

The statement read, “We encourage medical professionals seeking to work in the United States on a work or exchange visitor, particularly those working to treat or mitigate the effects of COVID-19, to reach out to the nearest embassy or consulate to request a visa appointment.

“For those foreign medical professionals already in the United States:
