why wouldn't i compare yaya to modric, is he better than him or is it because yaya is africa or because modric plays for madrid? yaya toure can do everything on the pitch, i.e, score, assist, free kick defend(he played central defence for barca then and they won treble) and clever passes. to me yaya toure is better than modric. bale can't outshine aguero since you said they don't play same position.

CL and Europa for the past 2 seasons have been won by La Liga. In all those EPL teams none made it to quarters and only Juve made it past group stage from Italy. Yet they are telling us their league is strong or their defence is weak

Lets look at last season Champions league group stage

Liverpool from the strong defence EPL conceded 9 goals in the group stage,
Arsenal from the strong defence EPL conceded 8 goals on the group stage .
Man City EPL defending champions from this strong defence league conceded 8 goals in CL group stages
Roma from the strong defence Serie A conceded 14 goals in 6 group stage games and 7 in one game at home

Lets look at teams from the weak defence La Liga and their performance in the CL group stages

The weakest La Liga team in last yr CL Bilbao conceded 6 goals in the group stage
Barcelona from the weak defence La Liga conceded 5 goals in the group stage
Atletico Madrid from the weak defence La liga conceded 3 goals in the group stage
Real Madrid from the weak defence La Liga conceded 2 goals in the group stage

Thats why I always say most EPL fans know next to nothing about football

these guys are good but you wouldn't get many goals in premier league and Italian league the way you can get them in laliga. A certain league can make you good and when you got to another you became better.

I am surprised people are comparing Neymar to Hazard. What is most surprising is the fallacy the supporters of Hazard makes, they claim stats shouldn't be use to judge both players (in other to nullify Neymar impressive stats), but they would be the first to qoute Hazard stats to say he is the best.

If EPL is that strong, why are la liga teams dominating both champions league and europa? Why is it that it is only Chelsea that has won Europa in recent time. Are EPL teams really good? If they are, why is it that their above mid level table teams can't compete with their laliga counterparts in Europa?

Barcelona play an attacking football so you expect them to get many goals why Chelsea play defensive football and you shouldn't expect Chelsea to get many goals. Hazard and Neymar play different role but they perform brilliantly in there roles respectively, it will be difficult to single handedly say one is better.......
I think Hazard is Slightly ahead because he was responsible for Chelsea success this season and people should understand that you cannot judge a player with goals alone.......... take away Hazard from that Chelsea team and I tell you they are left with nothing, Take away Neymar from Barcelona they will impress you but take away Messi and I can tell u barca wouldn't lift up to expectations.

I think Hazard is the better player. Aside goal scoring Hazard is better than Neymar in every other aspect.
