Transformer OR Transformerless Inverter?

They're both good; transformer type has a higher capacity inbuilt charger than transformerless inverters; also in terms of installation; i'll prefer transformer type. If its your first inverter; go for transformer type because its more rugged.

I started a small biz and really need a inverter SOONEST that wont give me worries in a long time...
I am not too financially buoyant.... So I'm opting for what I can get with 60k....

Can 60k can get me a set of 2kva inverter + inbuilt charger & 24v/200Amps battery.... den maybe expand later...

Wow; good to hear you are starting a biz; that's the way to go and i pray for wisdom to succeed and expand in your endeavours. 60K is way too small for what you have in mind even if you're getting used/fairly new. I'll advice you keep your money or possibly invest it in your biz and watch it grow. Maybe later when things are a little bit better then you can think of getting an alternative power.

It's a pure sine wave inverter and the inverter plus a 50A external charger cost 30k while the complete solution cost 170k. It includes inverter, 2pcs 12vdc 200amp batteries, installation.

It definitely can be used with solar panels, in fact any type of equipment that uses Dc battery can be used with Solar Panels. What the panel does is to charge the batteries, the solar pane has absolutely nothing to do with the Inverter.

The external charger is 50Amps, it should fully charge the batteries in about 6hrs or less. With your stated load, you should get about 8hrs or more if well managed.

Yes, it can power any house hold electronics/equipment so long you don't exceed it's maximum output.

Complete view....i purposely cut dos space in d front of d ups to work as air inlet for fan which also reduce fan noise in d ups wen working, and d rear spacing also to allow hot air from the ups rush out.....d result eas amazing cuz D ups barely get warm under full load.... I also used ma hand to feel d damn hot air outlet..... It's worth trying..
Note:d spacing is on both sides of d ups

I am so sorry, i missed your post, the converted 1.5kva inverter/ups will do the work and it will cost N160k. This cost include: 2pcs 12v 200ah deep cycle batteries, One converted UPS/Inverter, Installation. Its a complete solution. NB: it's assumed you reside in Lagos, if not there will be a little variation in price.

@feflo y don't you try another method of allowing airflow in the working of yr ups.
Try placing the fan airflow facing the transformer n cut d rear back of the ups cover, hot air will pass tru d place....... I think it's better than yr suction method....i can give you instructional pix if u want to know about it.

Comes with strong in built batteries....you can however connect external batteries to increases the run time and use as an inverter.... 2.5kva inverter will cost you 100k for the local and 130k for foreign.

A very good 4-5kva GEN will power the 3.5kva. The max charging capacity is about 1200w. I am in Lagos too. Delivery is between 5-7days.

The nameplate rating of "I better pass my neighbor' is between 670w & 950w, the actual output should be about 400w - 600w. My charger is rated 1520w, so you see that two " I better pass my neighbor " càn not power it talk less of one.
