Hello everyone, I am presently converting two UPS to Inverter, I promise to upload live pictures of the conversion. I noticed from the numerous calls I receive daily that many still find it difficult converting and that's the reason I'm doing this. I will also appeal to everyone not to post anything or ask any question till I'm through.

The two will be installed before the week ends, I promise to upload installation pix too.

please Sir can you enlighten us on why slim batteries of even small capacities are more expensive than the normal conventional sized batteries based on your professional experience, continue the good work you're doing thank you.

It has do with the quality of materials used in the manufacturing of the slim batteries, most of the conventional sized batteries are made in china and thus have a very short lifespan of about 24months. The slim counterpart have life span of between 5yrs and 15yrs, reason why they are much more expensive. The country of manufacture also matters, the slim batteries come from EU, USA, Germany etc. Please note that there are exceptions to this, some conventional sized batteries last about 5yrs even though they come from china.

You have tried two different inverters and they both didn't charge, the next likely culprit will be your PHCN supply. You need to check if the supply voltage is not too low before we can proceed to the next step.
