We don't want to be part of Nigeria. It is as simple as ABC. We've accepted that we aren't wanted in Nigeria so don't discuss fake unity with us. All Igbo territory scattered around 13 states of Nigeria is leaving Nigeria today. You all can then continue with your Nigeria. Good luck with your Nigeria. |

These Yorubas think they're smart by repeating what they did in 1966 but unfortunately for them, this is an era of information at everyone's finger tips. Whatever you guys want from Igbos, you'll get it in ten folds. You've pulled down our houses and businesses without valid justification. You've attacked, harmed and killed our people for simply exercising their civic rights in Lagos election. You've continued to promote hatred and call for ethnic profiling against Igbos both locally and internationally. The latest in your list of crimes have been the sentencing for life of a man that hasn't pulled a trigger nor hurt physically anyone whether Yoruba or not because of your intense hatred. All these are very well documented and MUST BE REVISITED IN DUE TIME. You guys can continue with your bitterness, envy and hatred. Thank God Igbos are not a small or weak group. kfasian: President Tinubu in Deep Sleep During High-Level Security Meeting
I litteraly wept when I saw this trending picture online yesterday. I saw a sleeping president during a very high level security meeting. In a nation bleeding daily from insecurity, where families are torn apart by kidnappers, bandits, and terrorists, Nigerians expect vigilance, strategy, and unwavering alertness from those sworn to protect them. But what we continue to witness is the opposite — a leadership slipping into slumber while the country slips into chaos.
A widely circulated image has captured what appears to be President Tinubu dozing off during a high-level security briefing — a moment that symbolizes the broader failure Nigerians feel every single day. Whether metaphorical or literal, the message is painfully clear: the leadership is asleep while the nation burns.
At a time when citizens in Plateau, Kaduna, Niger, Zamfara, and other states cannot sleep with two eyes closed… the Commander-in-Chief seems to be resting comfortably behind heavy security and air-conditioned walls. At a time when parents live in fear of sending their children to school, the nation’s top security meeting appears to be treated like a casual afternoon lounge.
What Nigerians demand is not a president who nods off — but a president who stands up to insecurity with urgency, innovation, and decisive action.
This is not the era for tired eyes. This is not the era for passive leadership. This is not the era for excuses and empty rhetoric.
This is the era for relentless leadership, for strategic intelligence, for boots on the ground, for drones in the sky, for investments in police modernization, and for a total overhaul of the nation’s security architecture.
If the President himself appears fatigued during a crucial meeting, what signal does that send to the security chiefs seated before him? What message does that send to millions of Nigerians whose lives depend on the outcome of that very discussion?
A nation cannot be safe when its leadership is asleep at the wheel.
As activists, as citizens, as humans with a conscience, we raise our voices once again: Nigeria deserves a leader who is alert, awake, and aligned with the urgency of our reality. The people are awake. The victims are awake. The grieving families are awake.
It is time for the leadership to wake up too — before the country slips beyond recovery.

Christistruth00: The Egbira and the Yoruba were strong allies against the Jihadists The cordial and close relationship between the Yoruba and Egbira was developed during that period
In Yorubaland both Egbira and Igala are not treated as foreigners but as Yorubas Igala was also part of the Pre colonial alliance with the Yoruba against the Jihadists You can only tell this fallacious tales to the birds. Both Ebiras and Yorubas were never allies in anything. Those who know the history of the different Nigerian ethnic group before the European partition of Africa knows those ethnic groups that interacted among themselves whether as enemies or allies. I'm on of such persons. Today, there are lots of Ebiras in Akoko Ondo and Eastern Ekiti sharing borders with Kogi(Ebira area). |
Politics › Re: 90% Of ISWAP Terrorising Kogi And Ondo Are Ebira By Tribe - Sheikh Gumi by Fejoku: 10:32am On Nov 24, 2025 |
DomPerignon: The narrative is wrong because Ebiras have always been Muslim and the history of their settlement dates to them being a mercenary force from Chad whom the Fulani recruited to overthrow the kanuri empire.
When the Fulani jihad failed, the Ebira mercenaries were drafted further south to overrun Benin.
The Bini kingdom resisted that onslaught.
The campaign to overrun Bini soil was jettisoned and after Uthman don Fodio's death that coincided with British war on Bini kingdom, the jihad was abandoned and the Ebiras settled were they are now.
How can the same people you claimed resisted Islamization only to end up overwhelmingly Muslim?
How did they convert to Islam within a very short period ? I've provided you with a source of my claims. Can you provide any source to back up your claims? I know nothing like that exists. I have another well documented information that shows when Fulanis sacked some outlying Ebira communities which hitherto had been under the Igala kingdom. Some Ebiras were vassals of Igalas in the past. I don't write anything without solid proofs to back up my claims. |
Politics › Re: 90% Of ISWAP Terrorising Kogi And Ondo Are Ebira By Tribe - Sheikh Gumi by Fejoku: 4:13am On Nov 24, 2025 |
DomPerignon: So if the islamization failed during the Fulani jihad era, how come Ebiras are now over 90% Muslims?
Did they convert during peacetime ?
Your assertion makes no sense. It won't make sense to you because your reasoning is warped. At least, someone else has confirmed that my post is true. One thing with Islam in Nigeria is that her neighbours will never be at peace with them. Even when there's no violence, you're still in a cold war with them. All the tribes in the middlebelt have been in a cold war with Islam being led by Fulanis and Kanuris with ample backing of the Yoruba muslims. Through the arms of government, these groups hamstring them into submission by denying them positions and contracts and only favour those of them that convert. Is this the time you call peacetime? A wise man once said that the absence of war is not necessarily peace. There's no ethnic group at peace in Nigeria today because there's an active plan on ground to subjugate them. |

Babalegba: Lol, lazy arse fiction. Try truth for once. Ibadan and Ijaye defeated the fulanis at the battle of Oshogbo in 1840 and it was a comprehensive victory that stopped the spread of Islam in yorubaland. Why would ibadan help their enemies to islamize another tribe. Google is your friend. Ibadan as a refugee town most probably didn't participate but Ilorin Yorubas would have joined in the Jihad against Ebiras. There are records of the destruction of communities in present day Kogi state by British explorers in 1854. The Bassas, Kakandas, Domas even Igalas all suffered in that Jihad/raids. The British knows about Nigeria's history more than 95% of the people that constitute Nigeria today. |
Politics › Re: 90% Of ISWAP Terrorising Kogi And Ondo Are Ebira By Tribe - Sheikh Gumi by Fejoku: 4:22pm On Nov 23, 2025 |
DomPerignon: Total rubbish.
The Ebiras originally are from Chad and were recruited by Fulani jihadists to take over Kanuri land but they failed .
The land they occupy now was a military cantonment in preparation of invading the Benin Empire but the mighty Bini warriors chased them away.
Stop spewing trash you don't know. Here's an Excerpt by an Ebira person about the Fulani/Nupe Jihad against their people. As usual, the Yoruba muslims joined them in the Jihad. History is about being repeated. The Nupe invasion of Ebiraland in the late nineteenth century was an offshoot of the Fulani Jihad of 1804, spearheaded by Usman Dan Fodio. The spread of the Jihad was a sort of war action. The Sokoto jihadist conquered the Nupe Kingdom, who in turn took it upon themselves to Islamize the Ebira. The Nupe invasion was therefore in the pretext of spreading Islam. It is common knowledge however, that slave-raiding and the ambition to plunder and loot were their main motivating factors. The Nupe first invaded Ebiraland in about 1865. The Ebira effectively damned the tide of the invaders, then came another massive but equally abortive invasion variously put to have occurred in 1875 or 1885. The Nupe warriors assisted by their Ilorin and Ibadan cohorts attacked Ebiraland through Ihima. The Ebira again emerged triumphant. The success of the Ebiraland in defending their “ete ohiku” was due to a number of factors. The Ebira were very brave people who would prefer to die than to allow foreigners (ani ikinami) to laud it over them. Their skill with bow and arrows buttressed their bravery while the hilly nature of their environment proved an added advantage over the Nupe who fought on horse-back. The gods of Ebiraland did not go to sleep when their ‘children’ were being threatened by external invaders. Either by coincidence or supernatural design, the invaders disturbed the hive of a swarm of bees on the hill housing “Ori Ihima” deity. The bees stung and stung, forcing the invaders to beat a hasty retreat. For his saving grace, the “Ori Ihima” was acclaimed as the divine force that preserved the independence of the Ebira until the colonial wind of change swept over Ebiraland in 1903-4. The war had some consequences on the whole Ebiraland. It disturbed farming, thereby causing famine in the land. Some of the Ebira captives during the war were sold into slavery and slave raiding (ako) became widespread even among indigenes. Culled from “The Heritage of Ebira Tao,” a book by S.S. Ebira people really tried to resist the Fulani jihad of the 1800s. They fought and resisted but the Fulanis were joined by the Yoruba and Nupe Muslims until the Ebira resistance was defeated. What you now have are an Ebira muslims with pent up anger. They are more fanatical than anyone you can think. However, Ebiras are known to be a very bold fierce and hardworking people. It's unfortunate that Islam forcefully took over their land without anyone helping them out. |

I am therefore not surprised he put this repellent and ignorant woman in her place. They all know the prejudices in their hearts, with their respective nations very troubled and with need of urgent interventions, that makes them to now be obsessively focused on Nigeria. Do you see how muslim Sudan have been left to their fate? That's how you guys will be left with the Fulanis after Nigeria is divided. May no Christian country ever hear your cries that time.
They even wheeled out the secular, hedonistic and totally unchristian Nicki Minaj, because she is a black 'tool' needed for use against the biggest black nation on Earth, with a prepared speech, to act as their Christian poster child to justify demonisation of Nigeria ala "give a dog a bad name". Why did not not nominate Taylor Swift to speak about "Christian Genocide" in Nigeria?
These are the sort of moves that demonstrate their desperation we have seen before.
Same way they used propaganda to justify the destruction of Iraq, Libya etal they had designated "Axis of evil" nations.
We are not fools and not uneducated. We see what is going on an that is what Tuggar is insistent on. |
