It is very rare for parties to challange All progressives congress (APC) and Peoples democratic party (PDP). Especially in kano as the parties would be extra motivated to do good in such a big and important state. That is why it is so strange that NNPP got both much votes in the presidential election and won the governor election.

What are the reasons behind NNPPs rise? What are the timeline behind the rise of NNPP in kano? Is NNPP rabius personal party?

Why was sokoto such a expetion? The state he got second most votes in 2019 was Jigawa and that was only 26%. What explains the fact that Atiku Abubakar got such a good result in sokoto state in 2019?
