PoliticsRe: Can Nigeria Ever Be Super World Power by FelixL(m): 8:47pm On Sep 17, 2012
Jobig: We can in corruption, scam and bribry.
Why do you and others always say this? Like russians. They also believe that bribery and so on is part of their nature and not opposable.
That is wrong. It is somehow human nature, happens everywhere but it is possible to fight against it. Of course it takes time and efforts. Efforts only a more developped society is able to provide.
PoliticsRe: Can Nigeria Ever Be Super World Power by FelixL(m): 8:24pm On Sep 17, 2012
Rhapsody!:
Emmm.....that was a joke!!
Not necessarily. China and Russia got birth rates far below 2. That drives them to extinction. If they go on like that they will have left the planet soon. France will be still there, same size. USA can only survive with the help of the steady stream of immigrants from Middle and South America. White America will be gone.

ooseven: We have some of the requirements: Resources, Land Mass, Diversity, youthful population etc,
Yes and more. You got english as language, a big advantage, you got a good running internet, your youth seems to be good educated and you got a culture of tolerance (last two points by my impression from nairaland.com)

I recently checked your curves at worldbank. Everything is on its way. Todays Singapur will look like a dirty backyard compared with future Nigeria. The only question is how long it will take.

From my point of view your main problem now is your incredible fertility rate. You just have to use to much time to take care for your children.

RomanceRe: What Is Wrong With Polygamy? ( Comments From Men Only Please). by FelixL(m): 10:45am On Sep 16, 2012
From outside
Came across a philosopher who said, that the high number of divorces in western societies comes from the fact, that one partner is just not enough people. (R.D. Precht)
Am with him so far. At least the western 'couple + 2 children' model does not work. Any poly- marriages I also do not see as a solution out of reasons that are described here already. There are other ways to take over responsibility and create a community. Am thinking about kibbutz-like concepts and things like that.

Also not that smart is to complain about the country you enter to the natives.
My country, Germany, is far from being perfect and so are its ppl.
As in N. everbody is accusing government and ppl are accusing their nature, their way of thinking and acting.
I remember I once had long discussions with a nigerian about the differences of our countries. By time he got angry and started to talk bad about mine. I was not amused. That is my part - not the one of guests as long as they are treated well.

fubbyy: I need a comment on what I can't do in germany cause that's my target after this yeye nysc, pls help
Germans all learned english in school but they are not all very good at it. So you better try to speak a slow school english. Where are you going to? East and west are not the same. The west part is full of immigrants of all parts of the world. You are not very exotic there. Biggest minority are the turks. Perhaps it is not a good idea to go into turkish bars as a black.

Hit my mail button, I'd be pleased to give you further support.

LagosShia: https://www.nairaland.com/1015701/shia-muslims-need-thread
Thanks. This video about iran is indeed propaganda. Their fertility rate did not increase after the revolution or only for a short time. Then it went into the cellar.

Fertility rate: (seem as if the engish version of worldbank's puplic data is not able to give this graph)
http://www.google.com/publicdata/explore?ds=d5bncppjof8f9_&hl=de#!ctype=l&strail=false&bcs=d&nselm=h&met_y=sp_dyn_tfrt_in&scale_y=lin&ind_y=false&rdim=country&idim=country:IRN&ifdim=country&hl=de&dl=de&ind=false

So that vid i mentioned lied. All other indicators worldbank provides also show no problematic developments. Looks all quite good.
This mut'ah thing I also do not want to accuse. It is better than illegal prostitution.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 4:21pm On Aug 25, 2012
Back to Iran
Got some serious meant questions you here can perhaps answer.

I came across some links about a kind of temporarily marriage in Iran. Is this propaganda or does something like this really exist?
Birth rate curves are jumping to the sky after the islamic revolution, their streets are now crowed with unemployed youngsters and older men can easily pick up young girls for getting 'married' for some month. That's what same vids are about.

Is that true? Does something like this exist in islam at all? Never heard about.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 4:11pm On Aug 25, 2012
LagosShia: we are talking about "Islamic feminism" and not Oprah Winfrey's "feminism".
Got no clue what Oprah says. Never been in the US, not even on this continent.

Wiki says:

"Feminism is a collection of movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political, economic, and social rights for women."

If f. turns into an ideology and this tendency is always there than it can do harm especially to women on the long run.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 3:52pm On Aug 24, 2012
LagosShia: so the definition of "feminism" is wearing jeans and T-shirt? grin

well, iranian women wear jeans but under the chador. wink
feminism = men are the source of all evil
women's lib = women fight for their rights

Our feminism leaded already to a men's lib. We now got women fighting for getting aware that men also are human beings.smiley

Like that thread.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 1:06am On Aug 24, 2012
LagosShia: i have answered that before and it was a point made by the wahhabi pervert-Vedaxcool,the ally of Islam's enemies:
i c, our forums are somehow connected. Dont know if vedaxcool is a wahhabi. Sounded all quite rational what I read from him. I for one am not an islam enemy. Am even a defender of our islamic minority. I learned meanwhile that there actually is indeed an iran bashing in western media in general as well there is an islam bashing in mine.

Issue is here women's lib in Iran. My conclusion is it grew to strong even under the tschadors and now it has got an response. Yes, women in Iran werent as oppressed as westerners think. I already knew that muslim ladies were in reality the bosses in there households. But times are changeing. A culture that still insists that women have to stay at home will not be competitive any longer. And it seems that clerical leaders in Iran want to hinder women to come out. I also figured out that Iranian are not only ethnocentric oftenly but also think men are somehow superior (outside their homes).

But ok, as Bahpulo said, that's not our case. I hope that no violence will happen.
Last one. If you got the opportunity in internet to meet persians: Play the white and ask the superior aryian race what they think about black africans!

MacDaddy01: lol.....it was a joke related to the issue of women rights. It was meant to insult anyone. Furthermore, the pic is that of muslimahs.

Dont buy into the censorship! Say no to totalitarianism.

Do you know other countries that like censorship? China and North Kore
I can say my opinion here without confinement. At my local forum I get deleted already for o.t. comments. So what? Am a guest here so have to follow your morals. Germany also is not far down on that censorship list btw.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 3:47pm On Aug 23, 2012
I'd really appreciate to get some further informations.
The certification for university - what are the percentages of boys and girls there? Girls are ahead there too already? I doubt that.
Number of young women/men leaving the country after finishing school with good exams?

I got the suspicion that it is much easier for men to leave and study somewhere else. I still pity the iranian girls at least if the come across irian men like those who I am known to...

Btw, I also had once a close friendship with a fulani student. Long time ago but I remember well: The opposite. There I was the less-cultured, untamed barbarian. Of course he respected our women.

MacDaddy01: If you ask Maclatunji why the picture can get you banned, he will ban you as well.

This censorship is a joke. What possible reason could you use to justify not putting up the picture?
At least it was off topic and meant as a joke. I regret to have misplaced it here. The girls were calling themselves niquabit.ches and are as far as I remember muslima.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 2:55pm On Aug 23, 2012
maclatunji: ^If I see you post such pictures again sir, you will get banned.
Sorry. Was late last night and I was not aware were I had actually been. (Islam for Muslims)

Did some homework for you.

Translated this with my poor english from my favorite newspaper
Shirin Ebadi, former first judge in Iran:
...
We have had an unversity subject called women's studies. It was about possibilties of development of women. This subject was now renamed in 'Studies of rights of women in Islam' and its contents were changed completely. The subject is now only about the role of women as mother and disregards all other social roles.
...
The number of educated women will decrease rapidly and many will be forced to disappear from the open. Government thinks, it can get rid of a large number of opponents by this way. But I am sure, the women will fight against with strenght.
...
Government fights with violence against any critical voice. Any protest is answered by jail and torture. That is why ppl are to scared to critize in the open. But in internet the protest is articulated clearly.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 8:47pm On Aug 22, 2012
sorry BahPulo, i dont want to offend you with the following picture.
These women are protesting against the french anti-burqua law.

BahPulo: You see what I mean you don't know that. besides this is a school that probably has its own dress code you don't have to like but you must wear if you're going to attend. Something tells me you think any woman who does not wonder around jeans, short skirts, and her hair fully displayed is being controlled right? if that's the case you're wrong, because most women in hijab do it out of faith.
No, I know. I have seen a documentation made in Austria made by an iranian woman. She definitely is complaining. The dress code is for females only.
Islamic women should decide themselves how to dress. At my place if they wear veils they usually chose a good looking one.
And no, I even dont like it when women are exposing their secundary gender attributes in the open to much.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 3:59pm On Aug 22, 2012
BahPulo: You find this in many cultures that dislike male and female mixing. Even in NYC you see such buses, women @ the back & male in front. It has nothing to do with the way they treat their women. It's funny it's always those outside the line that criticize. Unless someone from these cultures comes out and complain about their situation, the rest of us should just mind our business
Am I outside? I lived with an iranian for about 1 year. Once when we had drink he started to grab and bother girls in tramway. When my daughter showed up from N.Y. he welcomed her in undies. When he got visited by iranian girl I was not even allowed to talk with her. My ex has had an iranian bf, so my older daughter has a half-iranian sister. Always trouble about how to bring children up.
Have been invited to iran several times but refused to go there. Dont like to go anywhere where my women ar regarded as an easy to chase free game and I myself have to look for russian whorelets.

Ok, these are personal experiences, perhaps not guilty in general. For me it is enough.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 3:46pm On Aug 22, 2012
MacDaddy01: What does the picture prove?
Nothing. It shows. Do you think these girls like how they have to dress? They have no choice.

Iranians are also great ppl. I love their accent. My country is full with them. Iranian Government managed to get rid of their intellectual young generation.

(But sometimes they fail to behave in our busses wink)
Christianity EtcRe: When Will The World Become Fully Atheistic? by FelixL(m): 12:29pm On Aug 22, 2012
mantraa: the nazi were christians
Whatever you wanted to say by this: Nazism has its origin in a total misunderstanding of Charles Darwin's survival of the fittest. First 'to fit' was misinterpretated then they overtook the already wrong idea to entire societies. That did not happen only in Germany. Of course god had to be dead to make it possible. He(she,it?) was killed already in 1906 by Darwin, Einstein and fellows.
IslamRe: Iran Bars Women From Dozens Of Subjects In Iran by FelixL(m): 11:59am On Aug 22, 2012
In iranian busses the women have to use the backseats, the few men are sitting seperated in the front part.
That is not religion but culture. A culture that reaches from christian South-Italy, over Greece, Turkey to Iran and even further.

I cannot accept the way they treat their women over there.
Christianity EtcRe: When Will The World Become Fully Atheistic? by FelixL(m): 10:48am On Aug 22, 2012
- nazis wanted to return to old nordic religion (Thor, Asgaard , Walhalla etc)
- in today's germany there are every day new esoteric circles popping up

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-Druidism

- the debate about the 'threatening islamification' is going on because islamic immigrants got more children. (That discussion is an embarrassing BS.)
- video link did not work here
- there is nazism again in former communistic east-germany. They were not guilty for killing jews. They were taught that bad capitalists did that. Don't go there! West is ok. We got freed from nazi regime by black americans. They stayed for about 30 years. Still love James Brown and ppl with parts of black blood are every day in my house.
Christianity EtcRe: When Will The World Become Fully Atheistic? by FelixL(m): 6:52pm On Aug 21, 2012
Never. Can you imagine a culture now or in the past without any belief? To be religious is human nature. As long as there are open questions there will be religions.
Ask any atheist what life is good for and you will see that the person is believing in something.

Thank you for your contribution. I read it with interest.
But comments like yours are also part of the problem.
Cocaine is dangerous. No question about that.
But ppl can return into life after falling for it. There is a way back.
They may have lost something, years, money, relations but they can come back.

Not distinguish the drugs properly confuses and may lead to the next heroine addict.

(Crack I don't know.)
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Man Arrested With 65 Pellets Of Heroine In USA by FelixL(m): 2:29am On Aug 20, 2012
Heroine is not 'one' hard drug - heroine and other opiates are the most dangerous of all because
- the danger of getting addicted is the highest
- if you once got addicted there is NO way to regain a normal live. No way for ever.

That is so because this substance is very close to our own internal gratification system.
In the hands of a doctor it is a sake. In one's own hands it is not controllable. (Even not for you.)

Education is the ONLY way to get heroine under control. U.S. laws produced a worldwide mafia but did not solve the problem one little bit.
