Tell the lady to return the plate no, without it, people will be skeptical about buying it. Yes the new law say, the person who bought the car, owns the plate no so it's not transferable, but it can be returned by the second had buyer.

When I made the statement charix disagreed with, he didn't am sure do finding to know if it's true or false. With both taxi companies am registered with, the cab men are required to drop copies of the vehicle particulars+drivers license and filled guarantor form. The park chairman of where the cab men are based stood as guarantors for them.

I have stood as guarantor for people I know cos with easy taxi I have built a considerable good reputation. So not minding his promoting uber, easy taxi and afro cab are quite safe.

Would have also joined uber but man no get money for the kind of cars they require and not interested in borrowing from bank- I don't want to have sleepless nights.

I quite agree with you that people still don't feel safe with easy taxi, afro cab, uber and others, ignorance is a big probs. Ignorance here has to do with not trusting the structure put in place for customers safety-far better to order a ride than to go flag a cab on the road.

I have picked clients who even in the day don't still trust the new cab system, so I'll suggest what I have seen some clients picked for easy taxi do.....
1.check the detail of the cab man from the app-the app will have the picture, the brand of car and name of the cab man.

2.note the plate no and whatsapp/text....to a love one

3.click on your Google map if your order a ride to a place you ain't familiar with.

No system is perfect, there are good drivers and bad drivers. There are good clients and bad clients(you don't know what we cab men have experienced from clients). Until I drop off a client, am always at alert though doing my job professionally.
