Thanks, my OS is Windows XP professional.

Then carry go, IMHO i recommend you use a clean unaldulterated Windows XP SP3 installation disc for your format and install.

you do not want to pay a professional to do it for you
anyway but i do not know the type and configuration,

Get an Window Xp 2005, etc, cd, you can buy that from anywhere
Insert in your cdrom,
a message ' booting from cd, press and key to continue' will appear on your screen
then follow the instruction on your screen,
this will help you to format and install operating system,

In case you that message did not come
Then you to set the booting sequence, to boot from cd as first choice, you can get this when you enter setup when your computer in coming up,
you will see evrything coming up on your screen,

i hope i have been able to help you
