What's the source of this news?

Hope it's not from the poster's imagination grin
PoliticsRe: Of What Benefit Is President Tinubu's UK Trip To The Average Nigerian? by Fernandeswagger(m): 6:54am On Mar 21
Imagine British Steel was literally dying. Tinubu had to save it by signing a £70m deal that will sustain British jobs. Like why should we invest that much on British steel instead of funding our own steel company? Why take these jobs to Britain? This is just the slave mentality nothing else.

PoliticsRe: Power Crisis: Blackout Wreaks Havoc by Fernandeswagger(m): 6:22am On Mar 14
This government is irresponsible.

It should be made to pay for it's irresponsibility. Everything shouldn't be about elections. In 2026 which country is still grappling with lack of electricity? Nobody should come and talk about how costly it will be to fix power. It's a matter of priority.

I just looked up the page and its been removed from Wikipedia. Crazy how they are trying to delete history.
They control the media, the internet as a whole so it's easy to manipulate history when you weld such power.

. It's sad that even AI is being used to change history. The then Iranian prime minister was remove by the US and Britain in 1953 because he tried to nationalise Irans oil for iranians. The US and Britain installed the shah after that and they had full access up until 1979 during iranian revolution, the Iranian where tired of US control of their resources and suppression thus the revolution. The shia went in exile with his son , now the US is trying to sell the son as the saviour of iran .

You should look it up.

I've tried using the link you shared but it's saying Wikipedia doesn't have the page. But the suggested page actually proves you right. The predecessor of the Shar was ousted in a coup d'etat aided by the Brits and Americans.

So this whole thing goes way back and it's more complicated than it seems.

U the Iranian royal family where kicked out by this same US because the US wanted access to Iranian oil. Think about that .
Had to check with Grok. This is what I got:

No, the Iranian royal family (the Pahlavi dynasty, led by Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi) was not kicked out of Iran by the United States.

The 1979 Iranian Revolution (also known as the Islamic Revolution) overthrew the monarchy through a popular uprising involving a broad coalition of Iranians—religious clerics, students, leftists, nationalists, merchants, and others—opposed to the Shah's autocratic rule, corruption, repression (via his secret police, SAVAK), Westernization policies, and perceived subservience to foreign powers, especially the US.

- Massive protests and strikes paralyzed the country in 1978–1979.
- The Shah fled Iran on January 16, 1979 (officially described as a "vacation"wink, never to return.
- Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned from exile on February 1, 1979, and the monarchy collapsed on February 11 when the military declared neutrality.

The US, under President Jimmy Carter, was a strong ally of the Shah for decades (providing military and economic support) and viewed him as a key Cold War partner in the Middle East. The US did **not** orchestrate or support his overthrow—in fact, the revolution was a major strategic loss for Washington, leading to severed ties, the 1979–1981 Iran hostage crisis, and long-term hostility.

Some conspiracy theories claim the US "plotted" to remove the Shah or backed Khomeini, but historical evidence shows no direct US role in forcing him out. Instead, the Carter administration tried (unsuccessfully) to support the Shah during the crisis and later underestimated the revolution's momentum.

To contrast: The US **did** play a direct role in **strengthening** the Shah's rule earlier—via the 1953 CIA- and MI6-orchestrated coup (Operation Ajax) that overthrew democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh after he nationalized Iran's oil industry. This reinstated the Shah as an absolute monarch and deepened US influence, but it also sowed long-term resentment that contributed to anti-Shah and anti-American sentiment fueling the 1979 revolution.

The royal family went into exile (the Shah died in Egypt in 1980), and his son, Reza Pahlavi (the current exiled crown prince), has lived mostly in the US since then, advocating against the Islamic Republic. The overthrow was driven by internal Iranian forces, not by the US "kicking them out."

The list is endless but I just picked a few that the same FG has direct control over.

Dear Sanctimonious Hypocrites,

Let your charity begin at home, please.

Thank you.
One of the best comments on this thread in my opinion. You commented with facts. How do you increase prices of goods including building materials by over a 100% and expect house rents to be capped at 20%? The ripple effect of the FGs action is what is happening now in the housing sector.

No concern for the future generations, just keep borrowing to loot and continue your luxurious lifestyle. At this rate they might start selling Nigerians just to maintain their lifestyle. grin grin

When Nigerians are ready they'll wake up and demand accountability. For now let's keep playing while standing on his mandate abi manhood grin grin grin
