How I Did Mine!!!

(1) I opened a Dormiciliary Account with GTBank Plc,

(2) I sent $2,100usd to EMU Account of a Wednesday, and had $50usd left in my account,

(3) EMU got and confirmed my payment on a Thursday,

(4) GTBank Plc charges around $50usd for the whole transaction, so send $2,100 to EMU and have about $50usd left in your Dormiciliary Account for all the charges, and also about N2,000 on either your Savings or Current Accounts with GTBank Plc for some local charges,

(5) I got my Confirmation from EMU a week after my payment,

(6) Concerning the EMU Account No! Kindly surf the School's site for that,

(7) GTBank Plc has the fastest, the cheapest and the most simpliest transaction when it comes to funding foreign accounts!

Thank you for choosing EMU the most reputable University in North Cyprus.
Due to our stringent academic deadlines and embassy policies, we would like
to remind you to make your tuition fee payments within *10 working days* and
forward the receipt to us so as to enable us to process the final stages of
your admission, make visa arrangements with the Embassy and prepare your
accommodation. If we do not receive your payment within the *stipulated
dateline*, you may not be able to register for the SPRING 2012-2013
academic semester.



The deadline for payment is *25th January, 2013;* all payments must be
received on or before this date. For students awarded 50% scholarship the
least payment to receive confirmation letter is 2100USD, for those that
paid less than this amount, *kindly complete your payment before the set
dateline.*

*For those of you who have not applied for scholarship, kindly do so by
sending us a copy of your acceptance letter, credentials, international
passport data page to enable us process your scholarship letter to

For those that have made their payments and receive confirmation

Lolz!!! I mailed the Embassy once in December 2nd, 2012. But mailed them again on 2nd of January, 2013. I strongly believe that an applicant could book once in a month. WIP! I'm not an animal! So forget the fact that i often mail you people for a topic! All because you don't responds in time to mails sent to you, as other students also complain. And then i did not know a specific e-mail handling a particular issue, so that was why!!! I'm very sorry for that AHMED! And i'll really be excited if my mails could from now on be treated.

wip7: I just hope you have not WRONGED the embassy or display your character again to them. If you had wronged them, am scared you might not be given appointment date, I just Hope you did not. The embassy stated on the website to email them just ONCE in a month. Your character is to email 10000000 times, so maybe you have wronged them by this your attitude. I said this becos you kept disturbing us with multiple emails writing to rector, to me, to registrar, to vice rector, to our gate-man to our sectary just on same subject. Anytime we reply you, you kept bombarding us with your email until we got so tired of you and we stopped replying your email.

I hope you have not displayed such to the embassy anyway. If not then wait for the embassy they shall attend to your appointment. Wish you luck

Another batch of names have been sent today to the embassy, for those that have not make appointment, should do so and send us their flight details 3days before arrival. Application and payment is still on till Middle of January.

The Turkish Embassy, Abuja, is yet to give-out Appointment Dates to those of us that we've sent them our Bookings a month ago! Pls WIP! What do we do about this?

Thanks wip7 for ur responds! I check my spam often and i've just done again nothing has been sent yet to me! Anyway i admit the fact that we're in festive period, but i'm scared bcoz i've sent them my booking since 2nd of this month, about 3 weeks now!!!

wip7: Check your SPAM BOX. If you do not receive their reply, kindly wait cos this is festive season and most embassies will observe holiday. Classes starts Feb at EMU so you still have enough time.

What about we that we have booked and sent our Appointment Request to the Embassy for Appointment Dates, and yet we have not even got any responds from them ever sine we have mailed them the Request. Please WIP! I do not know if EMU could come-in to this issue. Because! I have heard a situation where the Embassy eventually gives the students/applicants far dates that might even exceed the registration deadline of EMU. Thanks!!!

I thought u applied in Fall b4, anyway the best way to confirm ur name is to mail kutlay.halkseven@emu.edu.tr, that was what I did I got responded within a day that my name was on the 1st row sent to Abuja for Spring 2013 intake. Await my Appointment date from the embassy since 2nd of dec that I've mailed them, and no respond since then! Hope to get my appointment date soon. Mon' sha' Allahu!!!

wip7: Basically, the thesis based option has more research, while the non-thesis has more classes. However, ALL master’s students must conduct some sort of research or project.

Thesis students will conduct a research project, which will likely involve less courses and these students must write a thesis, which is likely to be published depending on the graduation requirement of the concerned school. The thesis option is for students who wish to get a background in intense research, such as students who are going to pursue a Ph. D., or students who will be conducting research.

Non-thesis option is designed to be more flexible and is tailored for students who don’t necessarily need a great deal of research training. Non-thesis students will take more hours of electives than thesis students, but they take fewer hours of research credit. Non-thesis students still must do Project. Read more on google and choose what you want!!

We have sent the first batch of names to Turkish embassy in Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and South Africa today. All the students that have made payment and received confirmation letter from us, can now make application with the concerned embassy.

wip7: Unfortunately, we have age limit at Eastern Mediterranean University. Currently any intending undergraduate applicants born below 1989 cannot be admitted into our University and since you are 27years it will be difficult. Also you will be required to have roughly 20,000USD yearly to study Medicine at our university and we do not offer scholarship for the medical program. Lastly, we admit students into the medical programs only during every FALL semester (Sept).

Pls wip7 do u know when EMU's 1st batch of names for the spring 2013 feb. Intake wuld be sent to Abuja? I was told by EMU that the list was gonna be sent to Nicosia by week of 19th Nov. And later sent to Abuja after proper controls. Pls let me know if the list is out. Thanks and await ur responds asap!!!

penroll55: Admission letter means you have been given admission to study in d university and acceptance letter means you have fulfilled all d requirements and have been fully accepted just like here in Nigeria you pay acceptance fee to show you have accepted the admission else you can't proceed to other aspect or get ur matt number.to ur second question,notary public is like a lawyer or I will say a lawyer.

Guy!!! EMU is the best in NC! Free and easy admission and scholarship for both transfer and direct application. Yes u culd Transfer to EMU by applying for the transfer application. U'll better start ur application now for the Spring 2013 intake in Feb. That's what I did, I also aPplied for transfer application and given 50% tuition and accommodation scholarship which is about $1,710 usd. But have to pay at least $2,000 to get the payment confirmation. emu.edu.tr

Hi nairalanders!!! Everythin is set 4 me to apply for the Transit visa in turkish embassy, Abuja, what I would like know is that, I got a mail frm EMU that the list of students would be sent to Turkish Embassy in Nicosia this week of 19 Nov. 2012 and later sent to Abuja during this as well, that I should book for appointment at the Embassy by week of 26 Nov. 2012. I hope the list would be First Batch Of Names for Spring 2013 intake. I got admitted to EMU last semester but circumstances occurred so I defferd the admission to Spring 2013. Anyone with fatal info should pls enlighten me on the fact that first time travellers to TRNC or Turkey as the case may be should book appointment at least A month to his/her travel date, is this true or false? Also, in the visa requirements, what's the differ b/t Admission and Acceptance Letter? And Notary Public in my area should certisfy my sponsorship letter, who are the embassy refering to as Notary Public? Tanx and kindly reply me asap!!!
