His words can only gel your kind but not our class. The guy just blabbing to stamp godfatherism, just the way I deduced you're on the same school of thought.
Please was Wike the only former governor that expended his energy, money, time to campaign for his successor in Nigeria? But why it is that only Wike having or running battle to hold on to the state PDP structure even after he is no more a governor?
Wike is just trying to be like Tinubu but he forgot that Rivers peculiarity won't give him that leverage. Even if he succeeds for one term, he would not succeed the second term as a former governor.
The guy just succeeded cajoling you and sold dummy to you and you swallowed it hook line and sinker. I sorry for you, for not apply common sense before concurring with him in that foolery journey.

The guy is just providing you with facts and evidence, but, you don't have any, your submissions are emotionally - driven

Mr man you know nothing about politics, those name I mentioned had no godfather who made them governor on a platter, they struggled and fought to be governor. Those names were already popular in their respective states, nobody knew fubara before wike made him governor. Odili could never control Rivers structure because he was duly retired by Amaechi, you a meddlesome interloper who knows nothing about Rivers politics, wike is not obligated to listen to odili who was only fighting for his pocket and his daughter who was made commisioner of health, why didn't sim object when wike bought form for him to contest? Patience Jonathan was not everywhere in Rivers in 2015, stop talking about things you know nothing about? You want wike to kowtow to greedy elders who have been compromised by fubara, check your brain some screws are missing, in any case wike was not obligated to carry odili along but he did it out of his good heart yet the sane greedy man went behind his back to stab him, even when sim was called out to give speeches in GDI rallies, he could not speak, now he feels he's governor and he can do as he like, why didn't he run multiple times on his own terms like the others did, is it now that he knows that wike is high handed? When the going was good wike was his boss and oga, now people like you who were never part of the process will open your big mouths to say things you know nothing about. Wouldn't it have been better if an opposition candidate won? What is now wikes gain in making fubara governor. Fhuck the so called elders who took sides and you expect wike to subject himself to such, you're just a boy who knows nothing.

You are not just arguing with that guy, you are also schooling him in the university of POLITICS.
He wouldn't learn because pride and ignorance.

The governor's are not explicitly subjected to this provision of the constitution of the country in section 68(1)(g) but it can be argued in the courts using section 221 of the 1999 constitution as amended.
I'm not a lawyer though, just a common citizen.

Court will effortlessly dismiss it for lacking in merit.

A governor is not free to decamp to another political party and still remain a governor except their is a political crisis in his party. Currently there is a crisis in PDP. The governor is at loggerheads with the PDP caretaker chairman at the national who is a stooge of Wike.

Which section of the constitution tells you this?

Did the father who is the pastor join his son in the crime?
They want to make the headline so 'catchy'.

I think, most of these protesters are 'intentionally' jobless. So, someone will shutdown his/her business or leave his/her place of work for days in the name of 'fruitless' hunger protest?

It didn't nullify, rather, it specifically tells you who would give effect to that.

Visit your Constitution and stop arguing stewpidity. Any lawmaker or elected officials who violates the mandate handed by the people in this manner, for no cause, is supposed to vacate his seat immediately. undecided

That you missed this in the past is no reason why you should miss this now. undecided

Then, read section 2.

Let his party legally challenge the defection.

If it's 'automatic', why challenging it again? 'Automatic' in law means 'self-executory'.
So, you don't need to challenge it again.
Politics / Re: Labour Party's Senator Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi Defects To APC (photos) by Ferrous(m): 3:15pm On Jul 23
So, why didn't he 'automatically' lose his seat as some lawyers would say, since LP is not factionalized? Or have formed a merger with another political party? Why is Rivers case different?

Hope they all wrote their names and reg numbers in a piece of paper and attached it to the gift. That way she won't fail any of them. grin

I remember back then in school one of my lecturer lost his mom. He then told us to attend the burial. When he saw that we weren't taking it seriously, he told us that he wouldn't be giving us quiz that the burial attendance is 40 marks. Omo the whole department including carryover students chartered buses to attend the burial.

At the burial, come and how we were struggling to write our names and reg numbers. Las las everyone passed the course. To be a student in Nigeria no easy o. grin

Hope, you people also gave her something?

Nigeria can never get it right, Nigeria have a better laws but poorly implemented. Just imagine INEC conduct local group elections in Nigeria with the way things are going now, what will be the fate of state like porthacourt will Wike allow free and fair transparent election? It would have been better for INEC to conduct LG elections if federal might wouldn't be involved and it is impossible for a federal might not to be involved.

The same way Gov. SIM FUBARA is misusing State High Court

Not yet unhuru . Nothing changes except the democratic process of electing local government officers and candidates changes they are still at the mercy of the state electoral commissions to strangulate the local governments.

FG should give total autonomy to the local governments in all aspects of governance.
