Ifedith:
There's a seller naming the device as global version, now, from my understanding, all global version are written in English... However the picture reviews shows a redmi note 7 written in Chinese... What do u think about that... First the global rom isn't available for download at the miui rom download, so where did they get global rom to flash on the Chinese version...

It's not news that some sellers can't be bothered to change their listings to accommodate new ones due to "ratings". I have seen this countless number of times where the buyers will just change the title of the item using same listing. I bet you if you go back to that same store in 2wks times, you will see the reviews are that of the global version.

Back to your question of global ROM, afaik once the global version is out, these buyers know how to source for these roms directly. It happened with the Mi 6/8.

Ifedith:
And wats the wrong info that they're no fake roms or that all the global rom advertised are really global roms... I laff..

There are no fake global roms for Redmi note 7. A simple search on AliExpress will clear all your doubts. I want to believe you are not a noob re Xiaomi phones.

Ifedith:
Shey na Spain u talk am... Anyway wetin consign me...

Yeah stop passing wrong info.

Ifedith:
Fake rom loading....

It is not fake.

Ifedith:
Yes there is, but i can bet u that not even up to 50% of those advertised as global rom is truly global rom... For first of all the global rom isn't available on the miui rom download page and I don't want to believe those sellers are having the global version, asin written in English global version... Highest being global rom which isn't even available on the miui rom page, and even the global version isn't readily available, they're still doing flash sale in India and it's not even launched yet in China, the pro... So tbh there's a high percentage of landing fake rom

We are talking about note 7 and the not the note 7 pro sir. Fwiw the note 7 has been launched in Spain and yes it's the official global version.

CharlesJok3r:
Just go with the Redmi note 7 as the one with (global version) might be have fake/shop rom installed by the seller.

This is so wrong, there is a global version of the Redmi note 7. No fake rom, you guys should be careful with the kind of info you are passing.

who knows how I can get redmi note 7 in Vietnam.. and would it be cheaper?
I have a friend there I wanna know if I'll ask him to get it for me if he's coming back next week.

Why all this long journey when you can order on alixpress, jumia or order from people that have on ground?

Check if there is an official mi store in Vietnam and take it from there.

dasanchez1:
Is it because, it's Chinese rom?

Not possible.

ugonna1054:
So about the global ROM on my 6 pro, i googled the ROM and found it on MIUI website... it's probably not fake, as Gptech said, a global ROM was released last year..... October to be precise from the screenshot.....So Y'all bosses, watchu think?

Update and give us the feedback na since you probably don't think it is fake.

Good afternoon.

henrygold100:
in terms of everything, price, quality, reliability, effective and efficient. which trusted brand beats them

The note 7 pro isn't available in China yet, only India. Chill a bit.

It will be hard to find another brand that beats these phones in terms of price to performance ratio.

note 7 pro is better than all the note 7 both Chinese and Indian. However, note 7 pro in India is less than 75k, so if you have a trusted shipper, you can order it from there but note 7 pro will be launched March 18th for China, so you can still wait

The note 7 pro Indian version will not support our LTE bands, not advisable.
