Most times the other parameters are correct... But guys like Fibonacci, Gptech and Grandmufti will just look at the baseband version and give accurate verdict. Please you folks should highlight on this. Thanks. We want to be like you all

AFAIK all baseband versions starting with .TA are fake/shop rom, have not seen any evidence stating otherwise.

Which custom AOSP rom is closest to OxygenOS in terms of skin, functions and extra perks?

Been long i dabbled into the world of modding, so i wouldn't really know.

genius43:
The 3 months would have made more sense then realease the OnePlus 7 another 3 months later.

That's their business style, their fans know what to expect. They have been doing it very often and am personally not disappointed, the op7 will be here by April and the 7T will follow about 3 months later. It's a cycle.

earthrealm:
Mclaren edition has 3 key improvements.
1. Warp charging..charges full in abt 30mins
2.carbon fiber body wrap
3. Ram upgrade 8gb to 10gb.

Anybody would be angry..cos the price difference isnt much..and barely 1 month after 6t was released.

Methinks oneplus should have waited 3months or so.
Such changes are becoming common place in the phone industry...but not with such substantial upgrades/changes

It is not news that OnePlus always do this with every of their new phones, remember the OnePlus 5 JCC+ edition, the OnePlus 5T star wars edition, the OnePlus 6 marvel avengers edition and the 6T. So if you have been following them keenly this isn't rocket science and you should know what to expect, it's either you wait for the special edition or buy your phone and lock up.

earthrealm:
The oneplus 6T mclaren edition comes with 10gb ram.
Came out 1month after the official release of the standard op 6T.
Op6 t owners are angry

Why should they be angry if the phones aren't sold at the same price?

saintkenny:
How Oneplus earn phone enthusiast's respect every year is incredible. It's like the brand is here to stay. Just two phones every year and they're good to go.

It is simply because OxygenOS is incredibly faster and smoother than stock android.

Temihatz:
So I received my remaining items in Abuja. I was surprised to see a watch inside the package. I immediately messaged my brother in Lagos to help me confirm the owner of the watch as I can't remember buying one.

To cut the long story short.. I later asked lionlee to confirm if it was ibl that made the mistake and his response was:

Thank you so much bro especially for appreciating a small customer like me

Wow that's really commendable.

papiforreal:
I want to root my redmi note 5 Pro pls

Any ongoing crazy deal on Jumia?

You sef search and drop link.

acekid109:
if it comes with stock android ehn i won't think it twice

It will come with ZUI, people should really look at OnePlus and why they have made it this far is simply because of oxygen OS. Slap an iOS wannabe skin on it, that would be goodbye.

flexerking:

the rest ppl need to sit up

Trust Xiaomi to try to match and surpass them, we will sit back and enjoy the competition. Long may it continue.

Protein0:
but do we actually need these in a phone??

Phone is a phone, no matter what

At all, just looking at that price though. The base variant will cost just $390, time to start cooperative to start saving.

So that Lenovo z5 pro GT will come with 12GB ram and 512GB of storage, sd855 all for $640? 2019 will be the year where sh$t finally hits the fan. Bonkers.

lilbest4:
I'm planning to switch from iPhone to MI 8 does anyone know where I could get it in Benin and about the phone processing speed does anyone know if the phone would be as fluid as iPhone 6s plus? I know the display and battery life would be better on the MI 8

The sd845 is a very very very fast chipset, a smooth performance is 100% guaranteed.
