I want to believe you are not typing from Nigeria or you are still staying under your parents. This might be why you don't understand the reality in Nigeria. Do you think if the dude can afford health care, he will be here?

We Nigerians are quick in using downgrading words to address simple issues.

Well, I am typing from Nigeria and I left my parents' house some 8 years ago...hmm grin, so cliche for most people on this platform to judge people they've never met before.

To address the issue of affordability. I know things are rough and I can recall that I rightly suggested that only medical experts on this platform should diagnose and prescribe medication for the said person. This should be at no cost.

Moreover, if you know the harm misdiagnosis has done in Nigeria you won't think twice but to second my opinion.

Remain blessed.

Shalom!!!.

Please it will be nice if we can develop the culture of seeking professional medical help.

A lot of persons here could easily misdiagnose the aforementioned condition and this would worsen the situation.

However, for the purpose of interactive participation and based on the fact that NL is a forum, persons proffering solutions can state their medical qualification while they mention medical facts about this condition.

Also, Prescriptions should strictly be done by medical experts.

Non-experts can state their experiences and give words of encouragement.

Shalom.

The idea is usually propagated by non progressive individuals. Forget faceless forum, some of them are very miserable in life.

I do pray for them everyday...The day Africans become really enlightened, the world will stand still.

These sets of people are really drawing the continent backward.

They are easily used by politicians to carry out their divide and conquer agenda.

Yoruba lagba
Yoruba leads, others follow

I have been observing this tribal superiority war on this forum.

It is totally counter-productive and divisive.

Imagine a Scottish man claiming superiority over a Welsh... "nonsensical" to say the least.

More worrisome is that this baseless narrow-minded fight for superiority is always between two great ethnic groups in Nigeria...It is a big shame.

The big question is "can Africans see beyond their limitations, be their brother's keeper, talk progressively and compete economically with the rest of the world?". Instead we are fighting for which ethnic group has the most female CEOs or which country has the best jollof rice.

Some people say our biggest challenge is our diversity...nah, that's easily our greatest strength.

Tell me...who thinks of tribe or ethnic differences when it comes to football or sport generally?.

Africa has leadership crisis ...that's all.

Haven't you noticed that the elite and greedy politicians do not consider ethnicity when it comes to amassing generational wealth or looting the country dry. They easily come together silently and intentionally to steal our common wealth. While for an average african, his/her best hope for a brighter future is to japa.

Be wise and break the chains of mental slavery and deceitful conditioning.

Shalom!.

Time to make our own award shows more acceptable to the entire world.

Everything entertainment shouldn't revolve around one country.

Headies, Trace awards etc. should be more relevant to us than Grammies...it all has to do with packaging and involvement. Bring Headies back to Africa, invite foreign based artists to perform during the live show...infact, nominate them for awards.

OBO.... Baddest.

I hope he wins at least one Grammy award because he is a hard worker.

I still wish Afrobeat had this level of global recognition during the reign of 2baba, Psquare, Asa, TY bello, Paul play, Dbanj, Faze, Chuddy K, Sunny Neji, Styl plus, 9ice, MI, Ice Prince, Timaya, and Wande Coal...these guys were sensational. A song could trend for 3 years then unlike the 2 weeks of trending that is peculiar to this new era.
Songs on albums used to be played From track 1 to 20 without skips...even intro (track 1) used to be a thing (can't forget interludes too e.g 2face's story story).

I just listened to one luv by 2baba this evening and I was just wondering...hmm...talents dey ooo...chai

Learn to leave when depression starts setting in...some times you have to lower your expectations when you feel pressured.

Talk to family members, start a new job even if the pay is low, engage your mind in something new, eat healthy and always know that there are billions of people in worse situations whom are happier than you.

Finally, be more spiritual rather than being religious. Know your God personally. He is your father, your best friend and your problem solver.

I know it is not easy and by God's grace we will never find ourselves in such situation. Amen

I once had a high paying job and along the line it became stressful and depressing but I managed due to the pay...few months later the project ended and I was told to apply for a lower position with lower pay. I told myself NO. Instead I left and started teaching for 30k per month...lol. I had confidence in the God I'm serving and I was never depressed. Less than 2 months I was called for a job I applied for 18 months back...it was an automatic employment; no further interviews or screening.

Challenges come at your point of breakthrough...never you succumb to depression.
