Hi newbie

I would approach the issue with great caution, and try and get the brother to slow down a bit. I have watched too many sisters getting burnt by Naija guys! Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good sincere God fearing respectable Naija men, however it has been my experience especially here in the UK, that not all of them are sincere!

My baby sister has been in a whirlwind romance with an amazing Igbo guy that she met at church. They moved in together about 6 months ago, and she is two months pregnant. Much to our surprise the guy in question is now all over the place. Initially when they found out, he told her how much he loved her and that he wanted to marry her. Now the ugly truth surfaces, he has a girl back in Naija Igbo too, that he promised to marry before coming here to study, he is suddenly in a dilemma about whether he wants to marry sister or his Naija babe! His family seems to be against him marrying a foreigner (we are South African). This will be his first child, and now i guess she will end up a single parent,

There was no indication prior to this that he would turn to be a shady character or that he even had someone else back home!
