RomanceRe: An Open Letter To Nigerian Girls And Ladies by Fikzy(f): 12:36pm On Sep 21, 2007
Good post.

But hey, I was thinking. Most guys reading this post [especially those in the she-haunting biz] will agree that most of them are feeling deeply responsible for most of these calamity befalling the she-specie. as stated in the post, guys have been described as deceitful, greedy, tricky, liars + e.t.c, in short, guys cause 60% of these situations with the ladies.

If we say they are a weaker vessel, that means that we know that even if they are aware of these stuffs posted by Orikinla we are still able to deceive a greater number of them to fall into our dick-net.

So, to the guys, don’t judge a girl until you have had chances to take advantage of them but did not. I bet there are a few of us that qualify to judge them.

Nice post Orikinla, but its a pity that only a few of them will make it through like the brilliant Nigerian lady who is a senior banker with the First Bank of Nigeria Plc unless the guys are willing to support them.

Remember, they are weaker; we are expected to be there for them, not taste some of the fruits from the buddy

ProgrammingRe: Let Share Codes by Fikzy(f): 11:51am On Sep 21, 2007
@Smart K
The BackgroundWorker Component allows a form to run an operation asynchronously. This is very useful when we deal with such kind of operations as database transactions, image downloads etc.

I used the backgroud worker to partially solve my code challenges but the following problem arose.

1. I needed to update UI like textbox with status of my program but couldnt because C# said i cant call the object from another thread. what i did then was to increament an integer and get the current value of the integer via a Timer's Tick() event. here, i update the textBox with the current value of the Increamenting integer.

2. I am not satisfied with the speed of loading. Ok, what i am realy loading is some byte records of about 1001K [Database size] into an ArrayList. my programs loads aproximatelly 1 record every 100miliseconds. i believe it should be able to do this faster.

Question: how do i know the default sleep time for the BackgroundWorker Class Thread. 2) can control the sleep time.

Ultimatelly, i want to be able to manage my app threading requirments withuout using the BackgroudWorker with the hopes that it will give me a better performance.
RomanceRe: My Ex Wants To Have Lunch And A Talk! by Fikzy(f): 8:25pm On Sep 12, 2007
Poster,
you are in a sweet relationship, your ex wants to talk. TALK? thats a popular line in 80% of movies, what follows is holding hands and necking and blablabla.

Flesh na Flesh + Guys will always be guys. Seriouslly, a larger% of guys ussually wants ther Ex back, but not for anything serious or reliable. except for fun. [I'm sure of this]

If your relationship is realy sweet, dont go! if you must go because of the curiosity, go with your new G. something i know about unresolved curiosity[especially in this context] is that It keeeps firing until you do something.

And if i am your guy and i know about the lunch somehow not from you, i go rake oh.

Cheers,

TV/MoviesOprah Winfrey Says : All Nigerians Are Criminals by Fikzy(op): 9:59am On Aug 08, 2007
Someone told me Oprah Winfrey's comment on "Yahozee" the poplar party jam was that; "ALL NIGERIANS ARE CRIMINALS". If it’s true, I’ll say she is such a cheap thinker, just to keep my judgement pithy.

My own is that majority wins the vote.
I'm sure 75% of the people I know prefers COOL FM.
Meaning COOL FM is better,
RYTHM is cool too,
, but you know if its aint 96.9, it aint cool enough,

PoliticsNorth Korea Arsenal, Are They The Only? by Fikzy(op): 9:58am On Oct 11, 2006
As I looked theough the headlines on yahoo news this morning, I focused my searched towards anything containing strings such as North or korea. I havea of recent been interested in the ongoing atomic project going on in North Korea and the close marking they've been getting from the "Big Bross", Unted State of Yankee!.

I saw some jists on a recent Earth Quake in Japan and how some suspects tha it might be as a result of atomic amunition tests from the North Korea. anyway, I followed an interesting link titled; "North Korea's arsenal". of because, I wanted to know what theyhave thats making them bross worry, Abi? wetin them fit get way Iraq never get? or rather wey Iraq never de accused of,  and so,  i ran into this interesting Graphical Illustration and demostration of the Bad stuffs this North koreans have.

The Demonstraton includes the descrbtion of the wepons and the fatiality rate/range,  I fear oh,  the popular one called the "TEAPODONG" when lunched can reach strateic global locations as far as India, Rusia, Astralia and even the USA.

My Question is, Korea is the point of attraction now, but are they the only ones that have this kind of evil tools?

See what I mean for your self.
