PoliticsRe: Crude Oil Sales In Naira To Dangote, Others Begin October 1 - Finance Minister by finson: 6:53am On Aug 20, 2024
Ikaeniyan0:
This is a great news, it will also reduce the pressure on the naira
I don't think so.
The dollars that were supposed to be made from that volume are also lost.
The game changer would have been to sell the overall production to all local refineries in NGN, and to export pms in NGN to strengthen the Naira. But this will never happen because of the contracts signed with Oil Companies.
BusinessRe: My Refinery Will Reduce Fuel Price In Nigeria – Dangote ( Pic ) by finson: 11:09pm On Jun 14, 2024
Price will really drop when he will start selling in NGN and refining NG Crude Oil.
Current business model is to buy US Crude Oil in USD, process it in NG and sell it at its own defined price. Everyone knows that he took a loan in $ so he will defintely need $ to pay back.
The real challenge is the stabilization of the exchange rate. If the NGN keeps crashing agains USD, fuel price will keep increasing even if a new refinery is built in the NNPC Headquarters.

This is an interesting study case.
However you could have done the same simulation assuming that Mr A bought Dollar every year with the rent money. This would have helped me to benefit from a dollar cost average scheme and I am sure his net worth would have been improved.

Thank you all for your advice.

To those who have started judging me, I know what I have done was not good and I have also asked God for forgiveness and the strength to avoid such situation. You can still judge me

As I said, I am not from UK but from Africa.

We had sex on 1st Feb 2022.

The report she shared is a pelvic USS report issued from a lab in Lekki.

The report is very strange. According to that report, the age of the fetus is 6weeks 6 days on 15/03/2022 that means she probably got pregnant on 26/01/2022 and I remember that I met her only on 29/01/2022 not on 26 and we had sex on 1st Feb 2022.

She also told me that she has hormon unbalanced and she wanted to abort but the doctor advised her not to because the probability to get pregnant is low for such people. That is why she wants to keep it and to avoid being disowned by her family she suggested to get the opportunity to go to UK as Help Giver.

I told her to get a pregnancy blood test from a specific lab I know in Lekki, she just replied "OK".

She insisted to have my local line in my country but I refused to share with her. At the moment Whatsapps on my preivous Nigeria Line is still active and we use this communication channel. I don't have a facebook account and we used to communicate only on whatsapps.

I know I can be blamed for my bad conduct. I was wrong. I am just looking from some advice.

I do not know if she is trying to exploit you or not, but I understand that the pre-ejaculation fluid can get a woman pregnant. Therefore, the issue of withdrawal is not a guaranteed guard against pregnancy. However, most she travel to UK? Assuming she is truly pregnant I think the best you can do for her is to set up a good business for her to manage and take care of herself and the baby. Do not allow her come to UK to cause problem in your home, after all you informed her earlier that you are married.
Thank you for your message. I don't stay in UK. I don't really understand why the only plan she has is to go to UK just to avoid comments from her family. 3 days ago she told me to support her trip. The total amount for the procedure is 2m and she has already deposited to the agent 300k and she wants me to pay the balance. I am really confused because before I left she asked me to contribute for her rent and I contributed 400k and before I left she told me that she will pay for that rent at the end of the month (March) now she just came up with a new plan. The reason she is asking me to pay for the trip to UK is that her current job is not well paid and at the same time she does not want her family to disown her. She also told me that this procedure to go to UK as help giver is possible even with pregnancy. My job here in Nigeria was on rotation basis. I have always tried to support her. Now I am really confused.

Let her give birth to the baby, after DNA is carried out then you both will have something to discuss.

RomanceMy Girlfriend Sent Me Pregnancy Results And Ask Me To Fund Her Trip To UK by finson(op): 11:25am On Mar 31, 2022
Good day all,

I was working in Lagos as expatriate. I am married and she was fully aware at the beginning of the relationship.

I had sex with my gf on the 6th day and I pulled out.

I told her that month that my contract has been terminated by my company and I have to go back to my country.

On 27th day I met her (5 days before leaving the country) and she asked me if I am sure that I pulled out on time when we had sex last time and I told her yes and she told me that she is asking the question because she has not seen her period.

When I left the country 2 weeks later I chatted her and I asked if she is doing well. She told me that she is not fine. I asked "why ?" And she told me that she is pregnant. I was very surprised and I called her. That day she told me that she was just joking with me she is not pregrant and we talked about everything.

Last week she told me that she is pregnant. She shared with me a test results on a paper where the date of the pregnancy perfectly matches with the date we had sex.

She told me that if her family is aware of the situation they will disowned her and she immediately shared with me some requirements to apply for a job in UK where 2 million NGN are required and she asked me for support. She also deleted the image of the tests results.

When I asked her to share with me she told me that she does not want me to be in trouble if my wife see that document in my phone. I insisted to get a copy and I told her that she can be assured I will not keep it in my phone. She shared back the document after cropped the letterhead. I insisted to get the full copy and she sent another one after striketrhoughed on her name.

I told her that I don't think in Nigeria the only option available for a woman who gets pregnant is to travel to UK even if her family will disown her. I understand that the situation is not comfortable but there could be other options. Even this process to go to UK can be unsuccessful, and if it is the case, this amount of money would have been lost.

I am not from Nigeria and this story seems suspicious to me. I am currently abroad, there is no way I can verify what she is telling me. I don't also want to open it some of my friends there.

To be honest, I never planned after I left the country to cut communication with her or to support her. But I prefer to support her whenever I have the opportunity to do. I don't know now if this story about the pregnancy is true or not.

If you have any experience in this kind of situation please share with me. Any advice is also welcome.
Please don't judge me.
PoliticsRe: Boss Mustapha: If It Means To Lock Down Again, We Will Not Shy Away by finson: 10:05pm On Jul 07, 2020
So nobody is afraid for what is happening to Nigerians and Nigeria Economy ?
- The Naira has been devalued again (2 times in less than 6 months)
- 42% of nigerians have lost their job because of this Covid-19 and excessive lockdown (no company will pay salaries if there is no income)
- Nigeria has borrowed from IMF more than 3 BUSD
- Oil prices are badly affecting country's revenues

and you still want to lockdown.

Just share with me one country where a lockdown has been successfully implemented.

You want to take your decisions based on the number of cases but please tell me something, a country has more than 200 million of people and so far less than 200k have been tested. On which basis are we analysis these numbers ? The only statistics we can rely is the number of deaths.
