That's why we need Nigeria.

He will still win just like he did in 2015 in spite of your hate.

Elections in the South East are different from the rest of Nigeria.

Federal might always win.

Ask Alex Oti

Ask Martin's Elechi.
Ask Ikedi Ohakim.

That may not be true if they live withing their means and the wife is not a spendthrift. Moreover schools are free for children from primary school to secondary school. Govt also pays $500 per child per month as children upkeep allowance
@bolded Reallyhuh I doubt! Come on, stop lying!!
Free primary and secondary education is no big deal. We have similar here.
But those other things are bound to render the average immigrant indebted.

I am actually married, but she is still in Nigeria. I am in the process of sponsoring her to Canada, that's why I said I am alone here. But whether you say it's small or not, at least I am living well here and building an event center in Owerri. So I think I am just fine. When I geft the paying job, then I get it.
How long can you do what you are doing? I am happy you are doing something back home you can fall back to.
But trust me, when you become a family man, your expenses and responsibilities will skyrocket so much so that you may end up on credit cards. God forbid!

They are leaving not because of the financial breakthrough that's involved, but because they want to live and enjoy life where the system works and most especially for the betterment of their kids.
Eventually they end up living to work. Is that lifehuh

So, i have a Problem with Some Nigerians, who always try to discourage people from coming over.
If life is so difficult, in Canada or the U.S, why not return home and then start leaving a better life as they put it.
Our Destinies are different, if you are under a spell that you can't make it in Canada or abroad, that does not mean others can't.
For those who also think, U.S or Canada is heaven, please wake up from that dream, if you put in effort you get results.
If you work, you get reward, in the beginning, it's never easy.

For me one thing i know, is that as long as you work hard, and stay persistent in the end it pays.

I always tell friends, who want to come over. In the beginning, it's not easy, but everyday you see hope. there is a ray of light.
It's unlike leaving in Nigeria where you remain dormant for years, with things not looking promising unless you have got connections.
I always liking it to Any Nigerian Moving from Lagos to Abuja, believe me, settling is not easy too.
It would take months and probably years to settle in and understand Abuja well.
Same applies to relocating abroad.
If you have friends and families, the easier it is for you to settle.
One reason people relocate is not Just for Jobs, but wanting their kids and offspring, to lead a better life.
For the Youths still in their prime, those who just finished their BSc. if you can, it's best you come through a Masters degree, that way you can settle in easy and understand the system.
There are Still schools out there giving out scholarships.
Wish you all success.
The emphasis is of this post is on people who were relatively okay in Nigeria but decided to go abroad and start all over again.
That's crazy!
Living perpetually in debts is no life. But it seems you guys are already used to it.

no need to argue . why shud americans and europeans be going to canadahuh . the major recipients of the canada express entry are indians and nigerians. There are jobs to go round.
Who is deceiving you? The Americans and Europeans, the real skilled workers, will come in more honourably.

The current scheme is for African migrants (slaves) like you to come and do all the hard(menial) work.

Any so called professional who packs up and moves to any foreign country in search of a job is not smart at all. If you already have a job here, the best option is to apply for a job abroad while you're still in the country and if you're lucky enough to get one, then you use your offer of employment to apply for a working visa which in such a case is almost 100% assured as having a job shows that you won't become a liability to the welfare state. This way, you know what you're doing before leaving the country. You can't just quit your job, travel to a foreign land and expect to pick jobs off the floor. That's the height of delusion. There are born and bred Canadian citizens also in need of jobs so how you expect to get there and bag a good one makes no sense
Thank you my sister.

The only people who should be travelling abroad are those who have nothing doing here.

But how can a 6-digit per month earner just decide to quit their job for a potential 'paradise'huh Isn't that first class follyhuh

It might seem like peanuts to you but $1300 a week in Canada after taxes is almost 7500 a month before taxes. Trust me you can live very well on this, especially if you have no debts.
And you are going to remain single foreverhuh

I understand you my brother, but it's not in my place to prove anything to you. The fact you can't do something does not make it impossible, and no need for insults. You have your opinions, I have my savings. I don't normally do this but, I am gonna show my paystubs for the last few weeks from one of my jobs, just so hardworking young people will know it's possible. I get paid every week, the pay varies cos I do overtime some weeks. This is my pay after tax. For my other job, I get an average of $600 a week. All I am saying is that it is possible. I get an average of $1300 a week after tax from both my jobs, so are you telling me I can't save $4000, when I am alone here. The second picture also shows my earnings from the beginning of the year till now and tax paid. And this is just from one of my jobs. So please brother, don't be too quick to insults, if you are diligent, it is possible.
$1300 is peanuts for somebody living abroad.
It only makes sense when converted to Naira.

Another possibility is that this may be a social media agenda used by the Canuck government to discourage immigration.
Canada is in dire need of modern day labourers/slaves cleverly referred to as 'skilled workers' like you.

What are you waiting for?

People like you prefer to learn from experience.

Otherwise, how can you ever believe that you stand a greater chance than an equally qualified Canadian citizenhuh

what many dont understand is when you are in these so called countries and you are suffering but focused ,determined hard working then you have hope of a better future .
in nigeria it is totally the opposite ,people are suffering , determined but yet have no hope of a better tomorrow , and that is why religious bodies are taking advantage of the situation by telling people that if they can submit their monies to them then their tomorrow is secured .
in a system where the system works, you know that one day your sufferings shall end and you will reap the fruits of your labor but in naija to the average man there is no tree sef not to talk of fruits of labour . a country where people are been 10 months salary to 6 months.
it was when i left Nigeria that i realized something and ever since i have been following it and that is " WHEN SURVIVAL BECOMES DIFFICULT ,ACHIEVEMENT BECOMES IMPOSSIBLE BUT WHEN SURVIVAL BECOMES EASY THEN ACHIEVEMENT BECOMES POSSIBLE AND REALIZABLE
This piece is for those doing fairly well in Nigeria but foolishly decided to seek a better life abroad by starting all over again.
Alas, they became worse off...
