Luiz Dias is always injured. I don't want him but he is a good goalscorer.

As for Rafeal Leao. I don't like Portuguese players, they have a history of not succeeding at FC Barcelona. Only a handfull have done well at our club.

They're forgetting Bellingham with English media hype was the face of Madrid dominance early last season especially after those yeye late El Classicos goals.
EPL bloc will surely vote their own. Spain is a powerhouse also in deciding factor in Europe and Rodri was their national champion, also being in Man City assured some votes splits in EPL voters.

So critically analysing it this way, Vini had an uphill battle against these two unless he showed exceptional performance that was undoubted. They all seemed similarly competent to win it, with Vini and Rodri being the frontrunners.
Vini's average performance in Copa America didn't do him any favours especially when Rodri was turning in Masterclasses with that superb winning goal at the Euros.

They thought him "gingering" the crowd was enough. Who send am message to become Davido? He had a terrible outing with Brazil and they thought it was going to fly under the radar just like that.


The real person that should be mad should be Jude but of course, there's an entitled brother that doesn't recognize that because he thought he was there first.

The votes was divided between them both.
And surely trust EPL players to vote their own, so Vini had a tough time from the onset.

This right here, was a deciding factor. This is why it's difficult to have superstars in one team that have players that have set their sight on the same award. It'll take them reaching a conclusion like Iniesta Messi and Xavi, for them to achieve anything as it is, or one of them have to become extraordinary and churn out very big numbers in stats.
