Yeah! They would have stopped if they weren't making profits, and I believe BBA was shut down due to lack of sponsors. It's just that these companies don't appear like they pay that much for ads... I know I'm wrong sha. I used to think it was mostly from voting, but they stopped sms voting. I wonder how they do it.

Sponsorship for BBN is 1.5 billion for this season on the average for headline sponsors etc, then other brand too will chip in theirs too, production costs roughly around 3.7billion to 4 billion on the average, while projected profit is between 1 to 1.2 billion, for past seasons the average profit was around 1 billion.....

I heard they make profit through the companies that pay for adverts and sponser some programs and maybe this voting.

I don't think anyone will do 7 seasons of a show if they are breaking even or making a loss
South Africa's big brother was stopped for years because of lack of sponsors, I hear and they had to do a joint program with Nigeria to have a big brother held in their country but really I have no idea of how they make profit.

Even with the joint show with Nigerian HMs they still made a loss as it was just one brand that sponsored the show, plus even the winner Khosi complained when she was in Nigeria about not receiving the prize money yet months after the show ended.....
