It has been stated here over and over again by the experts that police report is NOT required for Canada study visa, except you have lived in a foreign country for an extended period of time.
Oh thanks. I’m pretty new here so I didn’t get that info

Hello everyone, Good day

Does anyone have an idea if P*lice report are still supposed to be added to the documents during application?

In my honest opinion, do not use any uncle’s or aunt’s account unless you can prove that they have supported you in the past by paying your school fees at any point in your life.

Your mother’s account should be used to show proof of funds for the tuition fees.

also show proof that your mother can susvive after paying your fee like the money for your school feee is not what is supporting her.

However, it is important that you establish a clear relationship with your sister and let her be the one to pay your acceptance fee. Before she pays, confirm with the school that the acceptance fee is refundable—in most cases, it is, and it’s usually about one-third of the first semester's tuition.

She should make this payment from her U.S. account and provide supporting documents such as proof of employment, mortgage, or any other financial commitments.

For proof of funds (POF), the goal is to show:

1. You already have the money for tuition (which is why your mother’s account will be used for this part).
2. You have financial support for living expenses, which your sister can cover. By paying the acceptance fee, she helps demonstrate her financial capability and willingness to support you.

Again, avoid using accounts from extended family members like uncles or aunts unless you can show a history of them supporting your education. What’s most important is proving that your sister has both the financial means and a strong enough relationship with you to support your studies.

All the best yes Avoid Fake Facebook Visa agents that promiss POF grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Hi, thanks for your response, this was actually helpful.

My sister has the money to pay for my first year tuition as you suggested which I will tell her to do, hopefully she agrees.

And for my mom, she has a land for rent which serves as her source of income, alongside her monthly income from the government as a retiree and my siblings also gives her money monthly..

Will those be enough to prove as source of income/survival? How can we go about proving that?

Hello Everyone, I hope I get a response from experts.

I’m looking into processing for Canada.

And my POF is really bothering me
My mom(who is now retired and got my tuition fee from the share of her mother’s house sold) is to be the sponsor and after she pays my tuition for a year out of my 2 years course, she only has about 6 Million left in her account.

My sis(in the US who happens to be married and a nurse over there) suggested to be the sponsor by providing the 20,700 cost of living. Will that not be a problem?

We suggested she sends the money down to my mom’s account so we can use it, will that one not also affect me (sudden transfer of such huge money in a new dom account)?

My aunt(in Nigeria from my dad side) suggested we use her account, but then she already has someone she’s sponsoring that is still schooling over there.

I also have an uncle abroad(my mom’s side) who can provide more sum with his SOA but isn’t willing to send the money down.

Can someone please advise me on what’s best to do?
