DeepSight: . I dont know why you speak as though you imagine your opinion is of any significance. As though your opinion can unhappen an event simply because you dismiss a platform.
Beware, that is a kind of psychosis. You mean seeking an alternate source of news is wrong? |

uniquetechng: Trent is underrated, he is the only RB in world football that plays as a RB, DM, Wingback, CM and AM every match. 99% of every Liverpool's attacks came thru his creativity and that's one of the reasons they're struggling this season. Trent would have been top If his defensive qualities were just as good. Defensively, he loses a lot of points. |

DeepSight: Look, denying an event because you reject the medium through which it is reported is just escapism. I have a friend who so hates the left that he denies anything reported on CNN / MSNBC etc. So even if CNN reports that the sun rose this morning, he will denounce it as fake news.
Thats what you have to learn. Disliking a news platform is not grounds to simply deny every piece of news proceeding therefrom.
I could do the same to you. If they continue to peddle lies and fake news, I would dismiss anything from their stables until I find a corroborating source. |

Mind you, Abuja was not sharia territory, it was only in 12 northern states, but they have brought their madness their madness to Abuja..

Besides there are many Youtubers who say exactly that within the USA. Well, I doubt Ted Cruz intends to visit Zamafara anytime soon. Man that always escapes Texas anytime they face challenges. Cancun Cruz. |

DeepSight: I am not discussing the USA. That country is clearly bedeviled with racist rulers.
I am discussing our country Nigeria.
Why should blasphemy be in any Nigerian Law? ? ? ? ? ? We are talking about USA. That window was opened by their accusation, so it is fair game to reference their issues. |
Politics › Re: Again, US Condems Sharia Law In Nigeria,Decry The Massacre Of Christians by Flangelo12: 8:31pm On Oct 23, 2025 |
DeepSight: Nigerians are the ones to decide and in that regard there is presently a conflict in our laws because it is false to claim to be secular and yet have religious laws. It is contradictory to say that we have freedom of religion, thought and conscience and them prosecute people for blasphemy. That can never make sense.
We do. Stop talking about blasphemy. Just a little over a month ago, the US crackdown on people who spoke ill about Charlie Kirk. We are nobody's house nigga. |
Politics › Re: Again, US Condems Sharia Law In Nigeria,Decry The Massacre Of Christians by Flangelo12: 8:27pm On Oct 23, 2025 |
DeepSight: Sharia laws have been applied to non Muslims in Nigeria and in fact just this week, one instance was in the news.
NO SECULAR STATE SHOULD HAVE RELIGIOUS LAWS OF ANY KIND.
None!
Indeed, even for Muslims who do not agree with certain tenets of Islam, they are free to say so without being tried, imprisoned or killed for blasphemy - all of which have happened in Nigeria. Who must tell Nigerians what laws must exist within her state divisions? No one. Sharia was implemented in states that thought it fit. The US has her problems and should focus on them.. Not like we rely on her for anything. |

Broveens42: You still didn't address the issue...
I didn't say the US is righteous.. I didn't say an Islamic country is bad neither.
I only pointed out the laws of a country claiming to practice secularism, which could put people's lives in danger for lack of clarity. Three is clarity. Have you ever seen anyone who was christian charged by Sharia? Sharia is for Muslims within the confines of States that have adopted it. 2 black men were found hung in America about a month ago. Does that mean that lynching is part of the American state? |

Broveens42: Us has every right to point out anomalies in a country that host it's citizens.
If nija is purely an Islamic country, tell us, so people can prepare their minds to visit and not hiding under secularism to practice another law found in the country's criminal code It's citizens? Where? You mean the minuscule number of people who come in to reap from our resources? |

US has no right to tell Nigeria what laws must prevail.
You cannot claim persecution of christians, yet claim this is done via Sharia.
