BRICS if successful is a great idea, personally I dont like the way every economy is dependent on dollars. Even Euro and Pounds that are higher than dollars are not often used in international trades like dollars.

But here is the one million dollar question you need to find out. Is Nigeria willing to forgo all the aids it gets from America just to trade in BRICS? Remeber your crude is priced in dollars. Also remember there was a Naira to Yuan swap noise during Buhari but till date it only became a noise.
Technically today, everybod in Nigeria is chasing dollars or wants to trade in dollars. America is a powerful Nation and doesnt joke with its interest and economy.

They don’t need the 47 European countries. 99% of what the whole world use today are made in the US — foods, electronics, drugs, etc. Farming activities from the US feed 98% of the whole world. If the US stop sending money, goods, foods and other things to other 197 countries in the world, we will all die. In essence, if they want us dead, we will be dead.
