The Nigerians in the UK are not very communal-minded, everyone is in their own enclaves and mind their business. Even when they form groups, it's rarely to help out but how to benefit from taking advantage of one another.

I don't usually support Trump, but he's right on this! Those BRICs countries think the US should just stand by and watch them undermine its economy and currency! They can do so, but shouldn't expect the US not to fight back! Imagine a group that includes countries like Russia and China wanting to paint themselves as the 'underdogs' and the 'wronged party'!? And that South-Africa can be annoying with the stand they take on issues sometimes! Do they think the old USSR supported them against the west and apartheid because they love blacks!?

BRICS if successful is a great idea, personally I dont like the way every economy is dependent on dollars. Even Euro and Pounds that are higher than dollars are not often used in international trades like dollars.

But here is the one million dollar question you need to find out. Is Nigeria willing to forgo all the aids it gets from America just to trade in BRICS? Remeber your crude is priced in dollars. Also remember there was a Naira to Yuan swap noise during Buhari but till date it only became a noise.
Technically today, everybod in Nigeria is chasing dollars or wants to trade in dollars. America is a powerful Nation and doesnt joke with its interest and economy.
