[quote author=Samstyle post=71914836]There is probably nobody who has not ask questions as to why lawyers are called liars. Yes! lawyer are prevalently called liars, but most people do not actually understand why they are called that. Today, i am going to briefly explain why lawyers are liars in this article. So if you really want to know why lawyers are liars, i strongly advise you to read this article assiduously, as it be an eye opener. More so, If you are part of those, who think lawyers are not liars (as proclaimed by a considerable number of today’s population), then i advise that you also read this article assiduously. It will certainly change your opinion after today. Before i go on, i will like to explain who a lawyer (in this context) is. Doing this will help you understand my point in this article. WHO IS A LAWYER? The type of lawyer referred to, in this article, is that type called “A Litigant“. According to Dictionary.com, a litigant is a party suing or being sued in a lawsuit, or otherwise calling upon the judicial process to determine the outcome of a suit. THE COMMON REASON WHY LAWYERS ARE LIARS Lawyer are liars because a large number of them liar when carrying out their job (that is litigation). This is true to a very large extent, as it has been noted that lawyer have a duty of care and competency to their client’s case. What this actually mean is that, every lawyer must handle the case of his/her client with competency; not minding whether the client is at fault in the case or not. So, no matter the side a lawyer is in any case, he is under obligation to handle his case competently. Nonetheless, it is important to note that not all lawyers accept this rule. There may be some lawyers out there, who prefer opting out of a case, than to defend a wrong person. These are the kinds of lawyers i personally refer to as “The Righteous Lawyers“. But apparently, it is very difficult, if not impossible to find such kinds of lawyers. So you see, this is why people call lawyers liars. In conclusion, i have stated that lawyer are liars because they liar when carrying out their job. Coupled with that, I noted that there maybe lawyers who do not liar, but i personally don’t think that can possible. Yes! that is all i have to say on why lawyers are liars.
