Popular Nigerian blogging site owned by Linda Ikeji, lindaikeji..com, has been taking down. This in the wake of recent issues and accusations of the use of content from other sites in violation of copyrights.

Fans of the site were still able to access the site this morning but a visit to the site on its hosting platform on bloger now displays the following message: "Sorry, the blog at lindaikeji..com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs."

Only time will tell if the blog was taking down by Google, which owns blogger, or this is a tactical retreat from Linda Ikeji as she moves the content of the website to her own domain name and hosting service, as it is possible by a blog owner to disable their blog....
