The ES300 is a luxury brand by lexus and targeted at a certain class of users. It has a luxury feel better than the Avalon in terms of the interior design.

Both cars will be at par in relation to maintenance and fuel consumption as they share the same 3.0l engine. They also durable. Parts are available for both as there mechanics.

The ES300 has a better appeal exteriorlly & better resale value. The Avalon has a roomy interior, bulky and will consume a little more fuel than the ES300 because of its curb weight. The Avalon looks like a granny car while the ES300 makes a lot more sense for a young person.

Personally, I will take the ES300 over the Avalon.

Hi Everyone,
I'm thinking of getting a car (tokumbo) and right now, I'm considering the two cars mentioned above and I humbly need your opinion on which is better. My consideration is based on the following:
-Durability
-Maintenance affordability
-Good features like any luxury features
-Fuel economy and;
-General Appeal.

Your opinions/contributions will be highly appreciated.
