Nigeria depends heavily on Oil to operate. If there is no Niger-Delta, Nigeria will be poor. The banks will all go down as well. Just like in the US, it is all about credit. If people are not borrowing money, the economy slows down leading to depression which then leads to lay-off.

The major reason why the website got hacked is because Most Nigerian banks don't use a secure website. Here in the US, all banks run their website using a secure tunnel.

Did you check to make sure that you can see mysql in "phpinfo()"?
I think you might need to check that first, then make a connection to the db.

hey dude, try to run http://www.malwarebytes.org/ It should remove all the virus, then install an antivirus software.

All you need to do is just think of something like displaying data on a datagrid or a login. Then, you decide on what programming language you'll like to use to accomplish it.
