I can also confirm the entire info by the OP is false. I have been on MTN fiberx for 10months or so, I renewed my 50MBPS a few weeks ago. The 20 mbps was still available…..it has always been on a separate menu.

I have never seen the interface he posted, I use the text service *461# to renew.

Service uptime, speed and reliability is 99/100


EDIT: I actually just remembered that I had downgraded to 20mbps at my last renewal.. I had completely forgotten.

That I had forgotten just tells you I didn’t even notice any difference despite the speed downgrade.

Edit: I just discovered I am still getting 50mbps despite downgrading to 20mbps. Explains why I had forgotten I downgraded and did not notice a speed impairment.
