Angelmay: well, accomodation depends on one's preference. Some like to stay on campus while others like to stay off k for various reasons. For me, i prefer to stay on campus for the following reasons.....better power and water supply, easy access to lecture halls especially if u like to go for night classes, no need to look for money for transport everyday...one can just walk up to class from hostels and this is especially if u are late. When u stay in town and u av just one lecture, u may nt want to go to school or u may end up spending transport for just one lecture, the struggle for transport most mornings espexially during exams is dreadful.....i could go on and on. Its far better to stay on campus as a fresher as one is just getting to know the school and there is usually a lot to do and get accustomed with though some people dont mind stayin off k, infact, they like it. I would say its better to stay on campus.....this is my opinion though...cheersAngel may....wad up wt ds session own oooo...sum ppl sed D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣ got hostel 2dy...pls is it out?D stuff s still saying hostel app for 2012/2013. Any info,abeg yahn ♍ƺ ooo. As 4 d advantages of hostels,well 4 gals its unlistable ooo. Let ♍ƺ mention d ones i can rem 1) fwnds v 2 try n squat with people during exams cz afta attndn the night class, D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣ r sumtyms unable 2 go home immediately and ds becomes a source of embarassment wen D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣ r caught by porters. 2) My 2nd semester linguistics was shifted 2 a dfrnt tym,luckily i stayed in d hostel so i rushed off. 3) i go 2 nyt class arnd 12am n go back 2 my hostel-a warm bed @ arnd 4am. 4) during afolayan's exams, a tutorial was organised by 400level students in d nyt,only dose arnd benefited. 5)being on campus reduces d chance of missing out important news n stuffs. 6)Distance frm d gate 2 d skul in a cab is 10mins not to talk of queues especially 1st semester 7)When v gt just a lecture in a day or a case where v got one arnd 8am n d second one arnd 2pm. I dnt get bothered,i attend d 1st,go 2 my room to eat,read,slp or relax n wait for d 2nd. Sumtyms d lecturer for 2pm does not come but i dont feel it unlike my counterparts who have been waiting all day in skul.  My pocket money is just for handouts,printoutsz,eating n wateva i wanna do.Ŋ compulsory transport fees included,i can have just 200naira on ♍ƺ n still survive 4 a while. 9)During course reg,U̶̲̥̅̊ have 2 go back n forth 2 d faculty. I dnt spend tfare just my leg. For ppl dat are like ♍ƺ(children from an average background) hostel is d best especially 4 ladies. Plus v got friends off campus i can chill with if i wanna. Plus the power supply is cool 4 ♍ƺ. #jes saying# |

I attended Kristi garments school of fashions years back. The place was awesome, it was filled with jambites and undergraduates, students who were through with their Youth service and seeking 4 a job, students who are home coz of ASUU strike. |

Yh....i went 2 oke ado(comfort villa) in order 2 c d house wch was so beautiful....i got home planning on payn d bills d next day...My mum kld me 2 tell me dat she has gotten me a hostel onlyn...so dose who still want a hostel shud still kip on tryn and checkn onlyn... Dou i still wish 4 dt comfort villa..got no choice dou |
