I recently had hands on with Redmi note 7, obviously the phone is superb, when I enquired about the note 8, note 7 is 66k and note 8 is for 63k. I was like how? Why? When the note 8 has snapdragon 665 against the 660 in the note 7 and has quad camera against the note 7 which where the major few things I noticed. I really was curious as to why the note 7 is costlier than the note 8?

that's how xiaomi is the redmi note 6 when launch was more expensive than the note 7,now the note 8 same thing I'm expecting the same for note 9,maybe parts are becoming cheaper by the year I don't know why but it's a great marketing strategy.

Hello everyone. I have one xs max with a faulty front camera, Face ID still works but I was told if I repair the front camera, Face ID will stop working.

No I don't think so,I highly doubt it would work even touch id if you repair the home button the chances of touch id not working is high,apple has this kind of extra security thing with there biometrics if apple had store in Nigeria that would have been the best

Lol your eyes has finally opened, first thing first never recharge mtn through bank I know of two people who fell victim of it most times it doesn't reflect,secondly even if you shout from today till tomorrow they will only apologize and say they will fix it they will not return your money and data.my advice for you is to change network,I remembered when I did 350mb only for me to just open one app and it told me i have 50mb left i was not downloading or updating anything it was for frustrating because I wasn't even able to fo what I wanted to do

The camera is a little exposed to light its not worth the price tag of 62k when redmi note 8 is there

Honesty the only transmission product in 2019 I feel is worth the price is the spark 4 the rest are not worth the prices for me I can't buy any other phone apart from samsung and Nokia for more than 50k I could consider xiaomi for 40k,I feel some of us are forgetting the fact that xaiomi released redmi 7,note 7 and redmi 8,note 8 in the same year

I have the device but there's a system issue which slows down the phone it can be fixed but I don't need it is would sell,the touch pad is working well I would sell the device for 5k

Glo to is Nigerian owned they just need to improve there internet speed but 9mobile on the other hand was a mistake to buy etialat they just file for bankruptcy

I also agree. I stop using Etisalat to browse since 2015, I only use it to call once in a while. 9mobile(formerly Etisalat) data is expensive.

I migrated to MTN, I stop using MTN early last year, after there(MTN) data became expensive.

I migrated to Airtel. Since i migrated to Airtel, I've only been complaining about there(Airtel) poor network which do Bleep up just once in a while, like 1 week in 4 month . There network is fast, but not as fast as that of MTN at where I live and work.

But now, I do sub on both Airtel and MTN, I sub heavily on Airtel while i sub lightly on MTN.

The people I still respect pass nah Glo subscribers. The reason i respect Glo subscribers is because, they must all be people with a lot of patience, cause a person like me will just be smashing my phone on the ground cause of how slow and terrible the network is. The day I use person phone for a week, the person dey use Glo network, I almost cried cause of how slow the network was. I didn't just understand how network fit slow like this, I had to start cursing glo.

Very true when I was using a 4g enabled device which didn't have glo band 28 exactly 00:10 in the midnight was still struggling with loading a YouTube video around 10,11,12 I was seriously struggling with network talk less of afternoon then it's completely unusable that's if data will turn on but since I got a band 28 device I was surprised to be using data in the afternoon, like you said mtn is still the fastest but there 4g is really doing well they just need to change there band to a more common one rather than making people spending a fortune looking for smartphones with band 28,9mobile on the other hand is not even trying at all they don't even do commercials any more,I'm expecting then to pull out of the network business and go back to Asia anytime soon

sincerely since have got the phone, I've not used nepa light to charge it, NA generator I dey use and I never charge am reach 60% since I don get am... The battery is mad... Walai, I dey play song, browse simultaneously and he still stand gidigba... On heavy usage, it's 10% per hour... The ui too gbaski.. The front camera is poor at night but makes sense in a well illuminated area... The back camera is damn good especially the live focus( if u sabi tweak camera ma addition for u).. And the phone is SCRATCH RESISTANCE both FRONT AND BACK.

Am currently using Samsung S7egde. with my experience with the device, i which to upgrade to a better Samsung device and samsung s9plus and samsung a70 got my attention.After my reviews online on both devices, I still don't know which one to go for....Please I need advice

If you want to buy s9 plus fairly used then it's best to buy a70
Battery-a70 has a lower display and less power hungry processor unlike the s9plus with a higher display and higher and power hungry processor which tends to reduce battery performance
Display-s9plus no two sides about that
Design-the a70 has a more modern design with a notch at the top unlike the s9plus,it also spots an indisplay fingerprint sensor unlike the s9plus whose fingerprint is located at the rear
Build quality-the s9 plus is made of more premium material unlike the a70 plastic material
Processor-the s9 plus has a better processor but u can't go wrong with any of the two when it comes to processor performance you would comfortably play high end games on both
Android 10-the a70 is most likely to get Android 10 it was listed in a rumored list and even if some would be dropped I doubt if the a70 would be part it's most likely the lower end a series or j series although the list is proving to be correct like the list illustrated, the s10 already has Android 10 update before the note 10,the s9 plus might recieve but the probability is less than that of the a70 especially because it was originally shipped with Android 8.
Camera-the s9plus has a better camera but lacks the wide angle the a70 has.
Wireless charging -s9plus but if it is fairly used it may be faulty
Resale value-s9plus
From this it's now your Choice although I prefer the a70
