Culture › Re: 10 Things Most Nigerians Do Not Know About Slavery by FOB1: 3:30am On Nov 06, 2017
Some of this informations are misleading and very untrue, I did my research and I will advice anyone reading to do so. Am sure it was written by a biased person probably white

Reference Antonio Johnson:
Johnson was captured in his native Angola by an enemy tribe (Enemy within) and sold to Arab slave traders. He was eventually sold as an indentured servant to a merchant working for the Virginia Company.

Sometime after 1635, Antonio and Mary the Negro (wife) gained their freedom from indenture. Antonio changed his name to Anthony Johnson.

On 24 July 1651, he acquired 250 acres (100 ha) of land under the headright system by buying the contracts of five indentured servants, one of whom was his son Richard Johnson. (four white and one black).

In 1657, Johnson’s white neighbor, Edmund Scarborough, forged a letter in which Johnson acknowledged a debt. Johnson did not contest the case. Johnson was illiterate and could not have written the letter; nevertheless, the court awarded Scarborough 100 acres (40 ha) of Johnson’s land to pay off his alleged "debt".

In summary he got trained by them as a slave and later continued with the trade but to say he started it, I beg to differ. Johnson lost all his ill-gotten wealth and son without any heirs.
Politics › Why Mr. President by FOB1(op):
Subject: Why Mr President

I Ben Falodun, for the very first time in the history of Nigerian politics, found a man whose track record is nothing to be compared with among the Nigerian leaders.
31st March 2015 was a moment of hope and promise of change for a better Nigeria after the incumbent government conceded defeat. Nigerians were happier. For the first time they felt they saw a leader who would listen and respect their choices.
Buhari is a man of integrity with no record of corruption during his or after his official assignment as Nigeria's Leader. Days gone by after May 29, 2015 till date, we the people of Nigeria are still waiting for that change you promised us during your campaign for the office of the presidency. Our infrastructural revamp and management is still epileptic, upgrade of our jury system had really collapse in the pool of corruption and remains so even now. War against corruption and indiscipline is the order of the day in our culture as a people of Nigeria, Terrorism, which has put us on the world’s radar following 419 stigmatization from every tom dick and harry, still remains a large threat.
If we have to wait and see this change in those capital projects to reposition and refocus Nigeria back to its original position as the giant of Africa due to global cabals in the oil sector, Do we have to wait to see those who put us in this position be convicted of their crimes? Where is Mr. Presidents Manifesto in clamping down on corrupt mal-practices and those involved facing the wrath of law? “We shall send corrupt politicians to Kirikiri.” PMB
Why promised what you cannot deliver, our noble president or is it too much to ask you to save the future of Nigeria? Enough is enough, we have lost billions. Our heritage and integrity are in the hands of a minority of Nigerians and we see them walking freely in town and in the helms of affairs in government and power.
Why is Madueke not receiving her alleged cancer treatment behind the bars at kirikiri?
Dasuki shared stolen money during Jonathan’s Government, how come we have not seen all the culprits involved in the transactions?
The so called tyrant Ayo Fayose seated on fountain of knowledge, should by now be removed if not that we are dinning on the table of lawlessness.
Why should we allow Buhari to stay in power as our president on this note of promised change.
#WeDemandJustice.
