This statistic about the South East is misleading. Kidnapping has long become a normalized menace in the region, especially in Anambra State. It evolved into an organized business as far back as Peter Obi’s tenure as governor. Today, many wealthy individuals and businessmen from the region have sadly accepted it as part of life, which is why those living outside the South East rarely return home like they used to.

His supporters from other regions who sees him as their saviour could now see the Anambra people he governed for eight years does not rate him.
