Warsaw, Poland, Jun 17, 2019 / 10:25 am (CNA).- A young Polish priest who was ordained last month following a terminal cancer diagnosis has died, his community announced Monday.

Fr. Michal Los, FDP, died June 17 in the morning, the Congregation of the Orionine Fathers said in a Facebook post.

“We believe that he met with the Risen Christ whom he so desperately wanted to serve as a priest. Thank you for all your prayers and support,” the congregation said.

On May 24, Los was ordained a priest in his Warsaw hospital bed.

He had been diagnosed with cancer about a month prior. At the time of his ordination, he was in critical condition.

Pope Francis granted a dispensation allowing Los to be ordained both a deacon and a priest in the same Mass. The pope sent a letter to the director general of the congregation, Fr. Tarcisio Vieira, granting permission.

Los was ordained by Bishop Marek Solarczyk of the Diocese of Warsaw-Praga.

The day before his ordination, Los made perpetual vows in his religious community, the Congregation of the Orionine Fathers.

On May 25, he celebrated his first Mass, also from his hospital bed. In a video posted on social media that day, he thanked Catholics who were praying for him, and asked for their continued prayers.

This isn't true, most marriage aren't sweet, it's mostly manage manage, and couples staying because of the kids.

To me couples can have sex as often as they feel like. sex is not only for procreation, is also for pleasure in the context of marriage. To me twice a week is ok but it depends if the woman is free

you made a statement as what exactly and that's my QST? are you his church member or you were there when he made his speech? what would the church member do if he insist on no PVC, no communion?

Read my previous post. My parish priest made such comment last week. He said dont come to church without pvc and if u find your way inside the church without pvc then no communion...everybody started laughing.

Its just a way to encourage people to vote.

Its because of people like you I made that comment. you cannot deny people communion because of pvc . the church has it rules it is against the church he cannot deny a communicant communion because of pvc

he cannot deny people communion because of pvc it is against the law of the church. like I said before my priest said it last sunday that he will not allow people to enter the church if they do not come with pvc and if you manage to enter the church without pvc he will not give you communion and people laughed ..is just to show you that they want people to participate so I said people should not misunderstand him.

Not everybody can have their PVC due to circumstances beyond their control.
So will you now deny then what is their right as a Christian by way of communion?

Voting is not compulsory. Partisan politics is also not mandatory.

Did christ place any restrictions or conditions to be saved or for you to worship GOD?

The priest is abusing his privilege as a minister with his partisan view which he should keep separate from his assignment.
